Well, well,... it's 8:20 a.m. and I'm the first one into Zeee's kitchen~! The coffee is perking, the biscotti is on the table and the mugs are set out,..... come on sleepy heads! time for our gathering! :D

I have a friend coming for coffee this a.m. here in my own kitchen,... then after she leaves, just before 11 a.m. I 'll pick up Kath and we'll travel to Whitehall, NY to have lunch at Skene Manor.

Back to work tomorrow,..... awwww..... darn it!

so come on in, sit a spell, and enjoy each other's company,..... have a great day everyone!

Good Morning! I'm up! Am watching the nice snow come down out there, and I hope to see it keep up all day and all night! December and Christmas should have SNOW, and lots of it!

Coffee is good, Cedar....but mine is better! :) Some day I will actually give that biscotti a try somewhere, but crispy cookie/biscuit-like things just don't turn me on! Now, give me a nice squishy, soft, moist HUGE pistachio muffin topped with crispy sugar crystals and walnuts......DROOL!!!!

Anyway.....hope you all will have a great Sunday. I'm not sure just what my plans for today are, after I go online and pay some bills. I suppose I should go grocery shopping in the big city (HAH!) of Lake Placid, and perhaps try to find me some better ski bindings somewhere that I can afford. The agony of trying to clip my feet into my bindings has become a deterrent to my getting out there! YES....I have just convinced myself to bring my skis with their bindings and my boots to shops to see what can be done for me! It's amazing how talking to others can provide me in with a productive direction!!!

Later..........from me and Molly
Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!

ahhhhh, good morning, yep I was a sleepy head this morning but wide awake now.
Coffee is good and its cinnamon toast for me today, then later I'll do up a little bowl
of instant oatmeal. Got my glider rocker brought in yesterday, and I love it, it is so
comfortable, much better than my recliner. So the recliner is designated for the dogs
with my big quilt on it to let the dogs burrow down into. They seem to be afraid of
the rocker, cause of the motion, but I can set the handle and take the motion out.
Gracie takes off to the bedroom and sits on the bed watching that rocker move. She
is so totally freaked out by it
My plans for today are to get all the blankets and rugs washed up in the house. My
washer isn't really big enough for those items so that means I'll make a trip to the
laundry room. I'll take my crochet with me and work on my afghan while I'm sitting
there. Other than that, my day is just a kickback day, which is what I usually like
to do on Sunday. Wash my hair and do the Sunday bath in prep for monday morning
back to work. At least I can look forward to a couple weeks off real soon.
Have a safe day ladies in whatever you do.

Good morning, all.

I have been without good internet for three days in Carlsbad, NM. I'm currently in El Paso. I went to the caverns and did the walk down, the whole thing. It is sure something to see. I had been there back in the early 50's and I really did not remember it.

Liz, I am so glad to hear your good news. Many years ahead for you.

Morning all. Peaches graciously let me sleep in till 8:30 - then we went on a fairly long walk right away - so she's now back sleeping. No breakfast for me this am, as Sparkle and I are going to the rec hall for lunch at 11:30 which is coming too soon to eat now. I think I'll just have some soup. Then tonight she'll come with me to the bar where I play poker on Sunday nights. I'll have my steak, and she bought a fish filet to bring for them to cook for her. Oh, this afternoon we are going to spend an hour on line dancing lessons. I can only count on one hand the number of times in my life I've tried line dancing, so I'll be a rookie for sure. But I figure it's good exercise. Somewhere between lunch and the line dancing, will take Peaches for a walk on the beach. It's a beautiful, sunny day here - should warm up nicely this afternoon.

Patty, I did those caverns a couple years ago - quite big and amazing, aren't they? And I'm glad you're back in internet land with us :)

Gooood Morning Sistahs!!!

I have to confess I've been up since 6:15 this morning. Had set my alarm for 8 1/2hrs but woke up early. Had to go P again. Did the usual morning routine, brrrrr 20 out on my back porch while I was out there with Shade. It was OK until the wind kicked up and that did that!! Gads that freaking wind was bitter. I scooted my butt back inside. :D But I poured another cup of coffee out of my pot here and sat in front of the laptop. Went to Yahoo home page first to read, got my comic fix taken care of then off to read my email. That did it right there for me. I ended up snoozing off on top of my coffee cup!! Was only gonna put my head down for just a second, honest. 45 minutes later I woke up. LOL Anyway I get two email reminders in my mail, one for the breast cancer site clicks and one for pet rescue. I ended up off on a look-see tangent at available animals. Found the most beautiful female Pom from Alabama!!! ~sigh~ I had best stay off that site!!! I would get her in a heart beat but she is all the way down in the bottom of AL. And 99% of them want a home visit. ?? Now how the heck would that happen. And a lot of them will not adopt a dog to an out of stater anyway. By goodness I might end up calling the breeder I know of in NC to see if she will have any pups in March or so? Love the idea of adopting one but a few I looked at on the site the adoption fees were pretty hefty. One of them was avail for $450. Can't afford that right now for sure. ~sigh~

Got my laundry going. Need to get busy cleaning house. I think I'm getting a handle on the little fuzzy black dog bunnies that have been floating around! Shade has been blowing her coat. ACK!!! We have been over run with clumps of black hair. At least they are easier to see and pick up than the single hairs from the cat and Davids dog. But last week Shade and I went shopping at PetsMart and I bought a shedding rake for her. WooooWeeee I raked enough hair off her to make a puppy when we got home that day!!! She looked pretty good tho. Last eve I sat down on the floor and she took off running! She is not a big fan of being brushed out. Jenny had to get her and bring her to me. Raked enough hair off her to make almost a puppy again. But now Shade is half the fur ball she was. Dang does she look skinny! And as soft and silky as she usually is? Her coat feel a little rough now. Boy what a difference. She'll grow it all back and I can do it all over again in a few months. Need to go to Home Depot today and talk to the guys in the lighting dept. My kitchen light is screwing up. It's a florescent fixture with 2 tubes and now for the most part when we turn it on it only shines at 1/4 the light. I simply can't stand a dim, dark kitchen. The kids bought a Christmas tree yesterday while Kelly and I were working. Nice looking tree and Jenny brought it in last night and set it up. Then she and Kelly went down cellar and carted up the decorations for it. So I know what they will be doing today. If it were just Kelly and I we wouldn't even bother. Or else have a small artificial one. WalMart had some really neat ones last weekend. One was black prelighted and the other one was a topiary tree and prelighted. That one was about 4' high and skinny. Just right for tight areas. The black one sounds strange but really caught my eye. It is very different and I liked it. I'm weird I know, go figure!! It would look super with silver and blue decorations on it!!!

First load of laundry is done so I had better get at the rest of the chores. Might watch a movie too. Wild Hogs!!!

Hope everyone has a wonderful day. Stay safe and warm.

Love to all

ps. hoping to hear a decision about the new jobs before Christmas. maybe that will be our gifts this year????

Good Morning all
I've been up awhile, just sort of hanging out.
No real plans for today - I think it's going to be rainy so I'll do inside chores. I have a few things I want to sew so I may get the sewing machine out today. I may also just take a nap :D
Echo, I hope you and Kelly can get new jobs for Christmas ! You work too dang hard.
I hope everyone has a wonderful day !

Hi all, it's still morning in Central Time and is the most beautiful day! I'm having a Hazelnut Creme light soy latte here, um, so good.
That's too cool that so many of you carry your sewing machines in RVs. I have patterns for a couple projects. One is a "twirly" dress.
Starts with a purchased t-shirt that is cut off just above waist, then six gores of a variety of different prints are added for the skirt. I'm thinking about doing that in Christmas prints for my DGD, too cute! But will wait for a rainy day. For now I'm headed out to McKinney Falls for a walk and to study in the sun. Have a fun day!

p.s..... plans changed. just as my friend Susie was leaving after our morning coffee hour, it started snowing! Dang-it Nasoosie,.. you keep that stuff on your side of the mountains, ya hear!

so we're going to go to Skene Manor on our way back from VT next weekend. Long range forecast is looking ok for the trip to Weston and Manchester, VT.

so making bread instead. will watch a movie and finish laundry. maybe even vacuum,... wow, a really productive day instead of running the roads!

Hmmm, line dancing? We want pictures, you hear, Beth and Sparkle?

I don't sew anymore, but that swirly dress sounds just like something a little girl would love, Diana. Do post a picture when you finish.

Brr, I don't envy you your snow, Soos and Cedar. It's even too cold in central FL today. Maybe I'll go south for the winter.

Yep, a nap this afternoon does sound like a good idea.

Oh, I didn't take a camera - but maybe when we do it again I will- MAYBE. And we aren't going to my Sunday night steak and poker tonight. Instead we're going to meet some others here at the park to play my favorite game - Catch Phrases. If you haven't tried it - get a few people together and play! I love it. We'll find out if Sparkle does after tonight :)
