Yippee, Sarah so glad you didn't get scared off.

I've planned to have an RV tech there to answer our questions & take a look at our rigs, a rep from the sheriff's office to talk personal safety and a private tour and tasting at the local winery. & what I'm sure no one will want to miss is the Tree house. Check it out at http://www.roadsideamerica.com/tip/13746?offset=15 Now if that doesn't make you want to come to the gtg I don't know what will. I'll be opening up the invite to the ORS group.

Sounds like you have a great plan for the GTG! I wish I could come but that pesky school thing again. I will be glad when I get done and can better plan to play!

Drat it, Sunshine, if only you were one week later. My last day here is May 4 so I could run hard and be there late on the 5th but we are having a big to do at my brother's house for his 65th and If I don't stop for that my name is mud (please he is my number helper on making modifications to the rig so I don't want him mad at me). and I love the minister's treehouse. Been to the top twice. Which winery? Brenda and I spent a year visiting every winery in TN although we may have missed a couple. Our favorite is in Baxter. Sounds like you are the hostess with the mostest! I know it will be fun.

Carolyn that sounds like a great schedule, I made my reservation to arrive on Thurs the 3rd and leave Monday. I don't want to miss the RV tech, should I arrive earlier or do you have a date set yet for any of the events?

I had a trip to Smokies and on to my brother's home in SC planned already but no dates nailed down. I emailed Deer Run to let them know I wanted to be with the WRV group. I will go ahead and call them now. My plan is for the Wed 2nd - Fri 5th, four nights total. Carolyn, it sounds like a fun and informative gtg and no mosquitoes or ants hopefully :o This time I will be prepared.

This is my reply from Deer Run, thought some of you might want this info too

Normally, we do not accept Passport America during a rally, however we are allowing one PA day during this specific rally. Also, we do not combine discounts since we are already offering a rally rate. All that being said, I have calculated the best pricing for you:

5 days:

Option #1: 1 night PA: $17.00 + 4 nights rally rate: $32.00 = $145.00 plus tax

Option #2: 5 nights of rally rate w/Good Sam: $28.80 = $144.00 plus tax

Looks like Option #2 is $1.00 cheaper, so best to use your Good Sam for the entire stay.

Seeing as how we will be in TN this season there might just be a chance to do this. But of course that is depending on days off for Kelly and I. I pretty much figure I will have to work weekends so would only be able to do the beginning of the GTG. And Kelly already knows that she will be working weekends at the campground. Maybe even if only for one day to get a chance to see some of the Sistahs!!! Wont know for sure until I find our what all will be going on with me until after I get settled in at Dollywood. But will for sure keep it in mind.

I do have it on my radar if the timing is right. Would just be a short visit, but don't know if the dates will coincide yet. Jello, jello.

I took a southerly route so I could stop in Florence, AL to look at a 30' Monaco, Riptide. Very nice couple came to lead me to their house. They have traveled for many years but her health won't permit it anymore. This RV is an 09 with 2200 miles. I am now parked at a campground on the TN River in downtown Florence. Rudy and I have taken one walk will take another then off to bed...I'm pooped. If Wendy and or Sarah read this, what is your route to Crossville and when do you plan to be traveling. Oh, not so great news...seems my AC compressor might be out, will try again tomorrow then better try to get to the Nashville Camping World. I have the Good Sam mtns insurance, thank goodness. My GPS isn't working either...so that will be added to my WM list. I have never learned how to upgrade my gps...can't find the book. Has anyone else had this problem? She (Racquel) doesn't even talk to me anymore to tell me she is recalculating..of course, the time I threw her against the dash probably didn't help either. Just kidding, I only wanted to :o

Nancy, if it's a Nuvi, sometimes mine will just spontaneously stop talking. I go to check and there are "no voices installed". Check that out. Might be your problem. Frustrating, but not a death knoll...

Nancy, I don't think you need a book to upgrade your GPS. Mine didn't come with much information. I just hook mine up to my computer with the cord that came with it and you can search the web site for any updates. I have a Garmin and I had to pay about $80 for unlimited upgrades. The second time I upgraded it I found out that what they consider unlimited upgrades is 4 times. That isn't anything you want to do on the road because it takes forrrrrrrrrrrrrever.

Anyone that buys a new Garmin read your instructions. Mine had to be updated when I bought it and I only had so many days to do that for free.
