So there.

There are some really cute clothes in the kids departments! And they are cheaper there! :D

(Actually, I have shopped in the kids departments since I can sometimes fit into the larger sizes, but it is embarrassing to be caught going into the dressing rooms there! )
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Too lazy to post any pictures (Mitch is so good at that. :) ) but I do have quite a pile of "stuff" accumulating in my dinning room. I never have gotten around to putting everything back into the rig after I stripped it before sending it up the road for the modifications.

One new air pump for the kayaks has been added to the pile. That foot pump was killing me. I also broke down and went on line and ordered a set of the exercise "steps" that I left behind last summer in a rest area in West Virginia. I kept hunting for alternatives but couldn't find anything I liked better. These are light weight and a good height and size for my feet and legs. Just wish they had only cost the $3.00 that the first set cost me when I found them at Goodwill. Some of my mistakes cost me more than others. :?

And thanks to Beth's encouragement to keep looking......
I also found a shop here in Lebanon that will fabricate a way to carry my spare "under" my rig and they are only charging me $200.54. You have to wonder where the .54 cents came in...but knowing the research he had already put in looking into options and the welding, materials and parts I was happy for the price.

I will be working most of next week and then have a list of appointments and loose ends that need to be taken care of before I head off to catch up with Birdie and all.... But I am finally allowing myself to believe in the possible... :D

Hey, now - do you mean that I'm lazy, or that I'm good at posting pics??? HUH?
Don't tell me you're getting mean like Vickie?
Next, it'll be "short" jokes...

And that dining room is called The Staging Area. My MUCH smaller staging area has moved from the computer room to the laundry room counter. Which reminds me to ask - who volunteered to take my large DO? I can't remember. I keep tripping over it on the laundry room floor...

Are you all putting the rock screens over your front grill? I think I read that some times people put under-belly screens on too. I'm not sure if that was true in the past and no longer thought to be needed or if its just and optional thing some folk do....Just wondering. We want to travel up that way in a couple of summers.

If it is the new pre-seasoned Lodge take it back and look for an old one at a flea market or yard sale. The lids on the new ones never seem to fit tight and you loose lots of your liquid. I have my Granny's DO but it is too heavy for me to use now. I also have her big kettle that she used to make lye soap in stored at a friends but somehow rod and the supports it hung on are gone. I so hated that lye soap, that is what we had to use to wash dishes in at her house ACK!!

Oh believe me it went back. That sucker was $75. Fortunately, Cabela's is really good about returns. All my other DO's are Lodge. I wish I could find some good old stuff.

Don't know about everyone else, but no for me - not last time, nor this time. You don't see as many doing it anymore. That said, I travel as many gravel roads here in the SW as I did up there -

Will say, I think all but me last time got a ding in the windshield. I do have 2 in mine, but not from AK.

And, Tina, glad you got the spare tire figured out.

Today was the last day for this project. I turned in my evaluations and my badge and was home by 2pm. Got a call from the fix it shop and had the Short Bus picked up and back in the driveway by 3. One spare tire taken care of. The inside needs a thorough cleaning...lots of winter dust all over and dog art on the windows. Tomorrow is for making to do lists and to start getting it done. Herschel is keeping his eyes on me. Need to make their appts for shot updates that a due this summer.

Tonight I get to catch up on some sleep. tomorrow I work on getting ready to hit the road.
