Good bye to Gertie the Gulfstream

Well, just got back from the bank. SOLD GERTIE. I got so lucky. I was listing it on Craig's list for $14,000 altho I owed $16,774. Had a guy email me for more pictures and end result was he decided to buy it sight unseen and pay off my loan. We met at the bank this AM and the deal is done. I have really mixed emotions. I loved my rig and all my travels but had gotten tired of being fulltime and dragging a 30' rig plus my car around. Am now looking for an older Class B for short trips and weekends. For the time being, I'll travel around through all of you.

Karen, the sale was meant to be - and that guy was great - paying off the loan instead of the lower price you advertised. Good for him. I know Gertie left with mixed feelings, but it's on to a new phase in your life - and hopefully a new, smaller rig to join us in gtg's. I'm happy for you, g/f.

You must be living right :o Didn't you take it to the campground for Liz to use after her accident? God looks upon the heart and he found yours gentle, charitable and kind. Now, it is indeed time to get the next 'just right for you' rig and go find the nearest Campfire :D

WOW!!! That's great news Karen. I think it's totally super that he paid the loan off instead of just taking the lower price. WOOOOOHOOOOOO

Wishing you all the best and quick time in finding that B that will fit just right for you and the pups!
