Morning ladies,

How's everybody this morning? Hopefully up and having breakfast of your choice and getting ready to start your day. Also hope its a good one for you no matter what it brings.

I'm dressed and ready to head off to the park for another day of cleaning the place up and getting ready for the season. We had really high winds yesterday, so no work along the beach area or in the campground as far as leaves werer concerned. Mom nature had a big leaf blower going out there. We did go down on the beach at one point to put out the supports that hold our life boats and we were getting sandblasted. Needless to say, we did our thing and got the heck out of there. But despite that we did accomplish quite a bit. Two of my coworkers are changing door locks on some of the building doors as they are just plain wearing out. So now we can start with all new locks that will operate much better.

Otherwise, pretty much same old around here. Getting ready for my friend Brenda who will be coming later tomorrow after she is done with her Campground Host training today and tomorrow. She's just down the road about 30 miles or so from here. Will be nice to see her and we will get into something while she is here. I of course have to work Friday and we wil have Saturday to play around before she heads home on Sunday. Then I will be off to work for another week and getting ready to head for the Upper Peninsula the following weekend as I happen to have a three day weekend coming up. Going to really enjoy that. Be a quick trip, but I want to go.

Liz, so glad you are getting ready to get your registrations completed on your new MH and are making plans to hit the road again. I can hear the excitement in your posts. You go girl. You've had a rough spring, but now it's time to head for AK and enjoy every minute of it. I'm so looking forward to following that trip.

So, guess I had better go throw my lunch together and finish getting ready to head out the door. So I will talk to all of you later.

Good Morning all. Just eating my breakfast and having coffee. It is a beautiful cool day in Florida. Last couple of day our temps have been in 30's and 40's at night and only got to 70 yesterday. But Florida will warm up again today, but understand we have another cold front coming in. We are having unusual weather but who isn't.

Getting packed for Alaska, checking, double checking to make sure I have everything I might need. This will be a very exciting trip.

Good morning Sue, Nan & everyone!

Sue, I hope the winds calm down for you so it isn't so unpleasant working outside.

Nan, I know you have got to be excited about your upcoming trip. I'm excited for you & the others going and can't wait to hear your stories and see the pictures.

It's been chilly in MD for the past week or so but we're supposed to get into the mid to high 60's today. But after spending the winter in Florida, that's still chilly. I'm recuperating from a bout of poison ivy on my hands and arms from weeding in a large garden we have, so I've been trying to find other things to do to occupy my mind. There was a crop duster spraying a field just across the road from our house this morning. I watch in amazement everytime I see them as they swoop down, spray and zoom back up, making it look so easy.

I'm looking so forward to seeing Soos, Shirl and hopefully Paulette in a couple weeks in Fredericksburg VA. Hopefully the temperatures will warm up so Soos can enjoy the pool.

GOOD MORNING SUE, NAN, AND ALL!

It is a cool day down here in Orlando, too, but forecast to be swimming weather again by this afternoon. I can't wait! The lawn mowing people are doing their thing this morning, so I had to run out and get Dinah and Molly in until they are finished. I forgot to put out my yard trash (cuttings, palm fronds, etc.) until I heard the truck leaving! I have one more pickup day next Wednesday before I leave here for the season, and I hope I remember to put it all out on Tuesday night. It takes some getting used to for me that I don't have to personally go to the dump, mow my lawn, trim the edges, and burn my vegetation that gets pruned! I am so spoiled living down here half my life now.

I spent yesterday afternon at Bass World....I love walking around that place and looking at all the latest camping equipment, canoes, kayaks, party barge pontoon boats, and all. I wish I were wealthy when I go there, however! My big purchase of the day was a pepper spray which cost under $9.00! I'll carry tht in the trailer and truck now rather than my hornet spray can which is much bigger and not easy to carry!

This weekend I hope to go to Sea World to be one of the first to see their new sea turtle/salt-water fish tank, and the new manatee/fresh-water fish place. Most of the turtles and manatees are ones Sea World has rescued and rehabilitates, or were born right there from other rescued ones. They are showing a movie, also, to those of us holding a yearly pass, and I can't wait to go.

Sea World has gone from plastic bags to paper bags to try to save more sea turtles and other creatures from eating them and dying. I wish they would outlaw all plastic bags on earth, frankly.

With a sunrise like here - it was worth getting up. However, Peaches has the right idea - she's back in bed. Off to meet a friend for breakfast - planned for 10, but I think I can call and at least make it by 9. But Peaches and I are headed out shortly for a hike, so maybe not.

Right now I'm sitting watching a jack rabbit who refuses to let me get a picture, but keeps teasing me. Ah, runs right up and looks in my open door - as soon as I move a fraction of an inch to use the camera - he's off.

GOOD MORNING SISTAHS!!!

It's another day off for me and i'm loving it. Didn't do a dang thing all day yesterday except cook some Johnsonville Pizza Sausage dogs in the micro. Other than that it was a totally bum day. I admit that I enjoyed the he77 out of it.

Only thing really planned for today is that I need to do laundry as I have no clean uniforms for work. I get paid Friday and have decided to go to WalMart to see if I can find a pair or 2 of women's black stretch jeans. I hate my work pants!!! They are Dickie's women's pants. They have no give to them and when I move or bend over the dang things bind and start falling down. They also have extremely shallow pockets and my iphone has already fallen out of them once. Scared the crap out of me as I thought it lost and gone. One of the other employees found it thankfully.

OK, gonna go read and see about catching up on all ya'll. Hope ya have a great day and remember to have fun and stay safe!!!

wow.. am i jealous of that beautiful sunset beth!! Its a cloudy day here.. they said showers, but i got out early and got the lawn mowed again!! I had fertilized it and now its growing like wildfire... big mistake..LOL ....
Actually the past few days have been very nice.. mid 70's.. i got on the ball and washed the trailer, pickup and car the other day! Have to make hay while the sun is out here... about did me under but now its done.... The darn pollen is back on the truck tho... all that work ( sigh)
Planning another camping trip to Mossyrock on the 15th... so hope the weather will cooperate.
I got a new cannon SX40 HD so i could also take it with me and not have to bother with hauling around the lens with the T3i... i am anxious to get out and take a few more pics.. I took a few at the beach, but not much to photograph down there..

good morning ladies, long break today so of course I'm on the computer cause I hate spending the gas
to go home and take a nap and then come back. I'll go out in the parking garage and nap in my car.
Its a little overcast so it makes for great napping weather.

Got up a little earlier today but still feel lazy this morning. Cool and cloudy in San Diego today with a chance of heavy rains later on and into tomorrow.

Beth, beautiful sunset photos! It was worth getting up early for those, huh?

Got a few things to do before heading back to work later on. I have been getting the 3-9 shift every day now and also all next week before my trip. I don't like working every night but it is busier at work during those hours and tips are better at night. I haven't been able to attend any Meet-up groups lately because of my heavy work schedule and working evenings. Hopefully, things will get better once I get back from MN. Haven't heard anything about moving back to the old shop.

Beth your sunrise pic is absolutely beautiful! Thanks for a happy morning picture to wake me up, even though, when I first viewed it, I was in a hurry to get out so I never wrote until now.

I've been to the pool for a swim and hot tub session, then went to Shingle Creek with the dogs, then off to get the special Publix fried chicken/cole slaw/potato salad/iced tea/rolls dinner! Now it's time to stretch out and take a bit of a nappy!

Oops! I knew it was a "sunrise" photo but my fingers typed "sunset" anyways...at least I wasn't the only one who did that!

Thanks, Soos. I had to go back to see what I had posted - knew I said sunrise But - sometimes the sunrise and sunset pics can almost be interchangeable.

I feel so blessed that I've been able to see the sunrise and sunset from so many different places. I might not get up as often as I probably should for the sunrise pics - but sometimes I just have to force myself. Now - it's been a long day and I could almost start a new morning thread - but I'm heading to bed. Supposed to be cloudy in the am - maybe even raining - so don't have to set the alarm again. Will head out or not tomorrow depending on the rain. If it doesn't clear up enough by checkout, will simply pay for another night (sucking it up - ouch lol) and leave on Friday.
