Amelia Peabody series by Elizabeth Peters

We don't read but we do listen. I'm a multitasker and Mary's not a good reader so we listen to books... lots of books. The best series we've heard thus far together is the Amelia Peabody series. We got hooked after the second book! To find the whole lot on audio downloads or discs I had to use both our library system in Oregon and the San Diego county libraries. (our daughter is a librarian in El Cajon, CA). I would recommend anyone read the books following the stated year each covers and not in order of publication. A couple of the later published books go back in time and the series closely follows a couples' relationship, the age and experiences of the son and world events.
