What is wrong with Maggie Mae?

Thank you for your concern. I spoke to my vet again and he does not suspect Cushings. He said there are usually other symptoms like a pot belly, hair loss, ravenous appetite. He said the next step would be ultrasound to see if there is anything inside like a tumor or blockage.

I am heading to NY this week. My sister has a good vet who helped her with a severe problem with one of her dogs. I'm going to have her look at Maggie. Maggie is actually acting fine for the past few days. Eating good. Sleeping good.

As far as the Trifexis, Maggie has been on it for two years without problems.

I have no idea what she is going through. This morning she was prancing along like a puppy. Hoping she makes it to NY without any problems. Will have my sister's good vet there just in case.

I've heard that small dogs sometimes don't tolerate chicken very well.. don't know if this is an urban legend type of thing or not
