Welcome Angelina. I too tossed around the TC vs. TT thing for awhile too, but with two dogs I knew the camper would be too small. Also as I get older, I didn't want to have to not only climb up into the camper but also up into the bed above the cab. But they do make some great little "porches" for those TC's. So I ended up with a small Rockwood Mini Lite TT instead. Has a slide and gives one all the room one needs, plus the sofa makes into a bed, so room for two more. Due to financial reasons and time limitations for the next couple of years, I currently have it up for sale. Later next year I am going to start lookng for a small Class B type camper so that I can travel out West the following summer. Might even convert a van into a Class B too. Who know.
For you, a lot depends on whether or not you feel comfortable towing a small TT. If you plan to stay put in one spot and camp, the TC might work, but if you want to go and do something else for a day or something, it's eaither take the camper off or unhook and mark your site so somebody knows it's occupied. With a TT, you can just get in your vehicle and take off.
Keep us posted on your decision.
