Looks like morning coffee to me! You caught them off guard. So glad that you opened the kitchen for us and started the coffee. Hang around more often and share some stories when you can. The dogs and I are heading off to visit their friends at the nursing home, a quick stop at Goodwill to see what fell off the truck this week and back home to see about how we want to rearrange available space in the rig. NOW, Mitch, I can think about where and how to pack things for the trip to Alaska!

Morning ladies. Today is my Friday - yay! I need to spend some time cleaning the Land Dinghy this weekend after our trip last week. And repairing the table. One of the brackets that hooks into the wall has pulled out. I need to figure out a better way to secure those brackets - or I need to figure out if my floor will support a pedestal for the table.

Just had a little sprinkle here in the Hill Country of TX. Breakfast is oatmeal and coffee. Man wished I had a biscuit. May look for some to cook up and stick in the freezer for later use. I love a hot biscuit with oatmeal. Today is the first day of the Pink Flamingo GTG. It is going to be so much fun. Already have 3 rigs and four sistahs are here. I may have to go to the front gate and wait for the new arrivals...I am that excited!! Do need to make a grocery run this morning and a little laundry, too. So I think I shall kick start this day right on out the door.

Sistahs on the road, be safe and careful...loonies out there. Those of your parked...get to having fun.

Good morning all, it's a much calmer day here, the little dogs and I survived their visit to the vet for teeth cleaning. Poor little Andy had to have several extractions so he is getting lots of soft food, right now we are sharing my omelet. I don't know who it is harder on when they have to go to the vet, us or them! I don't know why little dogs seem to have more dental problems than the bigger ones, all of mine eat the same thing.

The sun is out and it is looking like a beautiful cool day. We did have light frost the last couple of nights but hopefully not enough to hurt anything.I think I'll just be a bum today, maybe do a little shopping this afternoon. Time seems to be going by so fast!!

All you sisters at the GTG have a wonderful time!!

I am all ready to pull out on the way to the Pink Flamingo GTG. Just waiting on my friend Loretta to show up so we can head out. Can't wait. The longdogs are pouting because they don't get to come along but I promised them a trip after the GTG is over.

The tunnel walls are getting paler - is it a light or a trai

Good Morning, all - we caught a little of Birdie's rain this morning too - always welcome! Haven't posted lately because we are in the thick of the downsizing now, and are finally starting to see some progress. The plan is to be on the road by July at the latest, and now that a third of the household is in boxes it just might be doable. I love reading posts from the full-timers, it gives me hope that this might actually work.

Everyone going to the GTG have a great time. Love the idea that maybe someday I will post that I am on the way to a GTG too. We had a really quiet day and night. Chuck slept all day and woke up around 5 last night. He only had to have a little supplemental oxygen yesterday afternoon. He slept good last night and today he is doing really well. I want lots of these good days!

Been drinking my coffee and reading to see what all of you are up to. Sure do enjoy the friendly rivalry between Mitch and Vicky. LOL. Always hope Echo has an easy day.

Have a wonderful day everyone

The sun is shineing here which is a nice change from the rain, clouds and wind of yesterday. Unfortunately supposed to rain again tonite and tomorrow. Cold temps until next week. Sure wish I was headed off to the GTG in Tx but it just wasn't in the cards for me to leave early this year. Dr's appt with the colonoscopy guy today, hopefully to make the appt to have both ends scoped. REALLY hoping that he can get me in before June! Heck, it took me 2 months just to get an appt to see him! I want to get all of this done so I can get on the road.

Going to start loading Hope today, thank goodness I was thinking and got her out of the back before the rain hit. She would be a muddy mess if I hadn't! I have a Dr's appt on Monday at 10:30 with the heart guy and as soon as I'm out of there Evie (Pooker) and I are hitting the road for Why, Az for a short GTG with Beth! Yay! Back home on Sunday to re-load and then it's off to Laughlin Monday for a week for the Laughlin River Run, a motorcycle thing that the BF and I go to every year.

Chewy went to the vet yesterday for blood tests, she's checking for Thyroid and Pershings trying to find out why the Chewmonster isn't losing weight despite being on a strict diet and exercise. BJ, I always had big huge dogs and never had to have their teeth cleaned. Chew's teeth are horrible. Costs an arm and a leg to have them cleaned and of course I'm never in town when the vet has the dental special. sigh.

Birdie, just so you know the next time I camp with you, I prefer toast and peanut butter with my oatmeal. Just sayin'. :D

Waiting for pictures of the GTG.....

GOOD AFTERNOON ALL!

I have been trying all morning to get my computer to stop freezing up at sort-of regular intervals. I have done a disc check, de-fragged, emptied all the usleless files I no longer need, emptied cache, etc. etc. I even deleted some programs I have never used. All I can try next is to return to an earlier saved restore and see if that works. Then not update again for a long time, if it does! When I am in the chatroom, and the thing freezes, I can no longer type even when the freezing pointer becomes unfrozen. I then have to reload the chatroom page and begin all over. I have never been able to type in Facebook but for about one letter per second or per every two seconds, and, even then, my letters never show up in the type box. It is a very frustrating glitch in this thing. I recall it happening one other time, either on this computer, or on my desktop at home, but, for the life of me, I cannot remember how it finally cleared up.

I am still slowly getting this place ready to leave a week from this coming Sunday. Yesterday I washed the aluminum ceiling of the screen porch. Very difficult it was as it hurts so much to reach up with my sponge mop. But I got it done. Today I need to wash some clothes and get ready to see the kids here tomorrow after work. They are going out somewhere to a comedy show Friday night, and then we may go to Boston Lobster Feast Saturday night----provided my stomach gets better enough by then to give it a try.

I just ordered a 2-dog remote training zapper collar kit for the dogs from Amazon, and I hope it will show up before I leave here. If not-----I don't know.

Off to return to an earlier SAVED position on the computer, and see if that clears up my freezing. If not, then I will consider taking it to Staples to see if they can tell me what's up with it.

Hope you all have a fun day doing something that will make you smile.

Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!

It is just noon here on the dot!

I'm having computer issues too. Lost my blog yesterday  . Apparently someone changed by e-mail address on Google and then deleted my blog. I got my Google account back but not the blog.

Several weeks ago I noticed a little white square showing up at the left corner of my netbook screen. Now today it has turned into a large black blob in the corner with 2 red lines going down my screen. Not sure if that can be fixed either  Just hoping that doesn't get any bigger and take over my whole screen!

Was checking Craigs List yesterday for jobs and apartments around Tampa Florida. There are several Great Clips jobs listed (lots of shops there!) and lots of very nice 1BR apartments for rent for less than $600 per month. Some even less than $500 for smaller places. There is nothing out here for much less than $1000 for just a studio. Still in the decision mode about moving there. Then I would have to figure out when and how to get there. Would probably wait until late fall to go (due to hot weather in summer for traveling) but figure the cost of rent will go up then too. And of course come up with the money to get there. Lots to consider...

Gotta get ready for work soon. Have a great day!

Yippi.. its gonna be a nice weekend...so i have decided to take off to the beach for acouple of days! I am so bummed sitting here with the weather the way its been ( rainy) its time to get hooked up and take off!!! I always get alittle 'anxious' the first trip out..so will just take my time and hit the back road.. Will get tires checked for air and get some propane on the way out

Got the lawn mowed and the trailer is all ready to go... just have to wait till tomarrow morning! I see by the reservations its pretty full, so everyone is running to the beach.. i hope i can find some "goodies' from Japan.. they say some has washed up ..

Just got a new point and shoot.. dont wanna be bogged down with the T3i and lens ..let alone take it to the beach.. i am anxious to take some pics now.

Everyone have a great weekend....

Now, now, Sharon - if you were at the gtg in TX, you and Evie couldn't be gtg with me! So there. Ha... Am looking forward to seeing you in a few days.

I'm in Tucson and ran errands today that a larger town allowed. Went into AT&T to see if my cell phone could get a bigger battery for a longer life. No. But I discovered they have battery packs - where you can charge devices from them several times, then just plug the battery pack in occasionally. I like that and purchased one - but they were out of the one I decided on in that store. I could have gone to another store to pick it up - but elected to have them deliver it to the store I know where is - and I'll pick it up tomorrow. Planning to go to the Desert Museum tomorrow (one of my fav museums) and will go after to pick this up. I'm getting too many gadgets. Is that possible?

It's beauuuuuuuuuutiful outside - have been out walking twice and think I'll now take my Nook and sit outside reading. It might be sweatshirt weather tomorrow - but that will be great for an outside museum.
