Good Friday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Good Friday

Morning ya all,

Chilly morning here. Frost on the grass etc., but promise of another beautiful sunny day. Gonna be heading to town in a little while. Need to send back a new cell phone that I ordered from TracPhone as it's not compatible with my hearing aids. Do all the buzzing and what not, I can't use it  Darn. Doesn't look like there will be a cell phone in my immediate future unless I can find one that will work with my analog hearing aids and not buzz me to death. Oh well. So after a week of all kinds of little frustrating things going on, maybe today will be good.

Didn't go for a ride yesterday, so might do that today. It was mostly cloudy with a chilly wind blowing yesterday, so decided it wasn't nice weather to take a ride and stop here and there to let the dogs have some fun. We wound up over at the park talking a walk again. If we don't go today, will definitely go tomorrow.

Really enjoying reading about everybody's plans to head out north to AK and other points across this big land. Wish I were joining you, but all in good time. Right now, must work a bit longer here and then will start looking for a different rig to hit the road with. In the meantime it's going to be fun reading and following the adventures. Beth is already starting to work her way across NM and eventually will start to turn north. But she's enjoying every mile of the way.

Echo is trying to adjust to her new work schedule and her body is trying to adjust to a more rigorous work life  Hang in there lady, this to shall pass. Dollywood is a big place and who knows, they might even find a different job for you down the line that suits your fancy. Seems like in a lot of big places like that, everybody starts off as a dishwasher :) But even a variety of different jobs as a "floater" isn't all bad. Breaks up the day. Bet Kelly is super duper excited with the weeked almost here and her friends coming in. She will sure have fun.

Well, time to be off here and head "north" myself. Only my north is just 10 miles up the road. At least for this morning. If we take off for a ride later, it might be farther. And although from the religious standpoint, this is not a "good" Friday, I wish all of you a wonderful daly.

GOOD MORNING SISTAHS!!!

Sure has been rainy here! I think it has rained just about every single day so far. It rained enough yesterday that I was allowed to leave work a little early. Could have stayed as it was my choice to stay or go. Could have used the hours but also needed the little extra down time. Everyone says to wait until "Kid Fest" then I will know what busy is. Gads!!! I don't know if I can handle it or live thru it!! I am gonna give this job one heck of a fighting shot but if I don't get to the point that I can do a full shift without feeling like I'm dying I will see about a different position. I want this one to work out cause I HATE to give up. I've never considered myself a quitter but sure don't enjoy how I feel when I get done at the end of my shift.

Kelly is enjoying herself with her friend down for a couple of days. She and the friend hung out in the rec room last night until after 11pm last night. Her friend and her uncle are going to Cherokee today. Don't know what time and Kelly has the bathrooms to do until noon. Also I guess the friends uncle has a small truck and it doesn't have enough room for the 3 of them to ride together or else Kelly would probably go with them. So she will stay home and do dishes and a little cleaning.

With all the rain we've had it's just a tad chilly at night here. Kelly shut the door last night when she came home. I got up a few moments ago to get coffee and shut my fan off! Now I'm sitting here with a towel draped over my shoulders and back as I was shivering. it's enough that now I can feel some body heat building up and my back is now warmer.

OK, gonna go read and catch up with ya'll plus I have some other things I want to get done so will quit flapping my fingers. Hope everyone has a super great day and enjoys whatever it is that they get to doing. Be safe everyone!

Love to all

Good Morning to All - It is a bright sunny morning here in Nashville, Indiana - but COLD just above freezing. What happened to all that 85 degree weather they were having here while we were in the snow in Arizona? It starts the day off in a much better mood when the sun is shinning. Last few days have been gloomy and drippy.
Took the Alfa back to storage yesterday. He is all clean and waiting for our next adventure. Only a couple small things had to be repaired after our six month trip. Thank goodness.
Bill went to doc yesterday for blood tests. He'll be having a physicial in a week, then to the heart doc for a stress test. No problems with his health - just a "almost one year" check up for the bypass.
I've been busy for the last couple of days working on Bill's web pages. He wanted to change the name so everything had to be redone - all the links etc. I think I have it done but will spend part of today checking links. I used to know what I was doing - the last couple of days have been forays into the wilderness - brain wise.
Having a landscaper come out today to help us decide what to do with the area in front of the house - had roses in there but they just don't do well here - or maybe they just take more care than I'm ready to give them. Only a few are still alive and they will be moved to a sunnier spot. Also have the indoor/outdoor carpet for our bedroom deck - need to clean the area up and put it down.
Heard on TV this a.m. that in Piegonn Ford there is a replica of the Titanic - that would be neat to tour some day. Well need to get working on web site.
Hope the bad weather int he south east isn't interfering with anyones life. Take care out on the road.

good morning ladies
coffee tastes mighty good this morning, I'll probably end up drinking the whole pot. Lots of extra chores planned for my day off.
Son and his crew did a tear down of the kitchen and livingroom last night and thoroughly cleaned and scrubbed. Think he must
have something planned for Easter. Will do a teardown and clean my own room thoroughly too and get the laundry done a day
early as well. My goal is to NOT have anything to do on Easter but enjoy the day.
Daughter has my oldest grandson going over to help her do some cleaning too. He is done with high school now, graduation is
May 23rd but still have to find out where the ceremonies will be held. Can't believe he's that old already. He says he has a job
lined up but don't know any details there, what kind or did he even get the job.
The weather has been nice, just borderline between REALLY nice and the next moment it seems too hot already. More adjustments
on the swampcooler yesterday with the guys crawling on the roof, makes Gracie very unsettled. She still won't eat this morning but
hopefully since I'll be home today and she'll have a little security she will eat soon. If she doesn't get back on track with her meals
she will most surely keep me up all night tonight with a sour tummy.
Enough from my end of the world, gotta think about getting dressed so I can get to the store and load up the electric card. All this
extra cleaning will take extra electricity. :D
Ya'll have a great day

It's a nice sunny day so far. I hope we can miss a day of rain, it's very muddy and my DH wants to worm the calves tomorrow. I went to town yesterday afternoon and was the traffic ever crazy. I guess everyone was trying to get on the road for the long weekend. I met a bunch of RV's so bet the state park is full. I have never seen the freezers at the specialty meat market so empty. I usually get my stuffed chickens frozen but all they had were fresh in the ones I wanted. There were some stuffed with alligator dressing and some with jalapeno but not for me. I like rice dressing and cornbread dressing. There was a round steak roll but didn't ask what it was stuffed with. Will have to try that sometime.

Does anyone know how to get water stains off of crystal? I have 2 crystal vases that went through the flood and they are very cloudy. I have tried vinegar and that didn't work.

Hang in there Echo. You will be praying for rain so you can have an easier day. I know a job like that would do me in.

Chilly, but a beautiful sunny day here in Southeast Michigan. Nice to be outdoors. I went out to lunch with an old friend, which was nice.

I am filling up my trunk with stuff: basic paper and storage things like foil and zip lock bags, organizing things like drawer organizers and tiny waste basket, and things from my desk to organize stuff as I travel. I've also been doing more sorting and donating, and putting the stuff I want to take but won't need for a couple of months into some duffel bags. I also put together some toiletries I have but don't need for a while so I have enough stuff for a few trial camping runs.

My original plans had been to just transfer everything all at once from condo to motorhome, but it looks like I'll have a couple of months of overlap, so I am trying to furnish the motorhome with extras from around the condo when I can, and buying a few new things. I'm going to use my current bed coverlet, but I ordered a new white down comforter in a twin size to go over the coverlet when it is really cold. I love, love, love down comforters and sleep with one all winter, but it is red and getting scruffy.

Blood pressure is better now that everything is coming together. Tomorrow I clean out my car so it will be in good shape to sell in a month or so. Carpeting in front is really gross from winter!!

So nice that spring is really here!
