Thursday Morning ! and I can't Sleep... Well, how do I cure that...simple..I log into the family ... Who has almost all the answers..(given within reason of course ) and get my quick fix......... Just saying Good MOrning..and keeping my fingers active and my brain in gear...Yeah, that will do it for a bit...till my critters start grumbling cause they know I'm up

Just a little bit of information for all of you There's 21 days left till Christmas...

Now I've done a little bit of strolling through..and of course you all know I'm out of practice..well sort of...so here goes...

Oregontocal (Chris) Has Squirrels in her rig..and what's a body to do...well several explanations...as I'm thinking...mmmm I heard of Bats in your Belfree, but Squirrels...those cute little sweeties that jump from tree to tree and run across my roof and sit up and beg..aaaaaaaaaah ...well.... now they have become the ENEMY !!! Go get em' tiger ....I've read some potent info there....

Fernie's Campfire is still blazing and boy it's had some neat goodies brought to that fire..lots of wood too...almost sounds like someone has a good connection to a forest Keep em blazing Fernie.....

Bash....good to hear you are starting to make some good progress....You all remember she had the Knee Replacement...

Asirimarco (Carol) well she's enjoying her touring Vegas...with all them lights..it's a Show of Shows...breath taking too....Oh Carol..make sure you see the Virgin River Canyon....Amazing It's like Christmas all year long...oh and those Joshua trees..awesome... I loved it there...could have stayed for a long time..cepting Summer....nah...to hot for me....and dry....never any cold showers in your rig LOL

Islandmomma ( Jan) a newbie on the block Hey there ! Well she's a asking about driving in the snow..Something I do all the time...wait..use to that is... take it slow...and drive during the day time...keep your frig on and GetupnGo (Janice) gave you great advice..... for me.. My rig was always winterized and I drove with empty tanks and carried water for drinking... and made sure I had chemical in my black and gray tank... until I got to my destination where it was warm weather..then I flushed system hooked up and was ready to relax.... I used Flying J's for showers..or I use the hot packs in microwave to wipe down..Propane I had open for frig and my heater......But only drive in the daytime... stay safe... and Soisew..that's a good tip too..don't leave Jacks down cause yes they will freeze....

Nasoosie (Soos) well she's a Skiing....like walkin..but in the SNOW her and her Molly...by the way Soos..you never said if you put boots on Molly... I have friends that do the Cross Country Skiing and if they have dogs with them ..they use the special boots... dogs do get use to it...but neat to watch them do the High Step...Oh and by the way... in the mornings... I like my coffee strong...but only flavor in the evenings with a little Jack Daniels... that will take the chill out of the skiing...or maybe tuck ya in too...LOL.... (decaf ) Great pictures too...but I head south for the winter...NOW ...

OregontoCal...(Chris) you is sure busy...mmmmmm Letter Boxing...now I had to check that out..cause when the word Boxing is used... I'm a fan of all sports....but Letter Boxing...did ya put the letters in a box and square off...LOL good one to read....

Almost There (Lenora) GeoCoaching....now that's a new one on me..so I've noted to read what Frankie posted ...a website...so I'm as Green as Goose Liver...let's all check that out...Thanks Lenora..you made our day ...BUSY...LOL

Ok, Critters are barking..and Hey...AussieGal...I'm in an over 55 community......and who said Ole people can't hear..well maybe they can't but they must feel vibrations..cause they sure can complain LOL I'm still pickin the corn out of my choppers....

Coffee pot is perking and so am I ....so it's let critters out Scoop..then back in house..complain and wash hands and check shoes..then set down and shake my head....LOL Yeppers..I'm off to a flying start... Where too.... Maybe back to bed...

Loved the visit..only if it's just for today.....but hey I have Corn Muffins, Toast with Peanut Butter... Banana Nut Blueberry Bread and of course Biscotti...

Tea, Coffee or Cola what ever your preference...if we don't have it...I'm sure someone will throw it in....Cedar, Echo, Lori..I know you all have somethin in the kitchen....hey where's Mtntophoundz lately... mmmmmmm

I'm up now, too. That's what I get for falling asleep on the sofa at 7 PM!
Oh, how I've missed your morning recap of what the gals are up to. Sometimes you bring up something that I've miss so I have to go back and check it out.
Yesterday I signed up for a weight loss program. This one has allot of differences from the ones I've done in the past. First of all they ask you how much weight you want to loose and give you the tools to get there. I also will be responsible for keeping track of my measurements. Some of it repeats other weight loss places in that I will need to keep a journal of all my food intake as well as my feelings etc, but along with weighing in 2xs a week I'll also be involved in their group seminars. They have several weekly meetings on different topics to keep everyone motivated and encourage everyone to get involved in supporting each other. One of my weekly seminars is from noon - 6pm, for 5 wks. There is a nutritionist who will meet with me tomorrow at my first weigh in and she'll set up my food lists and intake. She also teaches the cooking classes and will help with recipes which I think will be very helpful. Before becoming a nutritionist she went through the program and has lost 110 lbs. Wow, huh? Wish me luck!

Well Goooooood Morning Sistahs!!!

YeeeHaw what a great wake up surprise!!! Barbz in the kitchen! Super recap, which is great cause I didn't read much on here last night. We got out of work close to 7:30pm, stopped for supper at Pizza Hut and it was almost 9pm by time we got home. I punched out just a little past 7pm and Kelly punched closer to 7:30pm. Kelly was busy doing a little job for her supervisor so she was a little longer. Ya know how it is? If you at least like your dept a little and you have a good supervisor you don't mind so much doing that little extra. And Kelly has one of the best supervisors in the joint for day shift. Where as my supervisor???? I would love to buy some tar and feathers! Oh and some cement shoes for her too.

We have this 'weekend' off. Well at least we will have Sunday off. We have to work our so called Saturday off. Am looking forward to January to maybe having 2 days in a row off again. Might be able to get everything done and still have time to relax. I am so grateful for this forum!!! I am giving credit to this forum and all of you for keeping me sane!!! This is my release and relaxation.

Ok it's time to take the puppies out, now that Honey is up too. Then I need to get around for work. Already had my comic fix for this morning.

Good Morning!! Barbzee good to see you in here this morning. But you can keep those little squirrels. They love the wire coating in my car. Got a shock at work on Tuesday. They are eliminating my entire accounting department and all but 2 employees. So figured my job was gone. But amazingly the two top bosses came to talk to me yesterday and asked me to stay. Told them I would think about it, not sure how this is all going to work when the dust settles. It might be better than it is now, or it could be a total nightmare. So agreed to leave an open mind and see how it is all going to work. This economy has got to turn around soon, things are getting bad everywhere. But as long as the coffee and biscotti holds out things will be good.

Wow,... good morning Barbzeee! It's great to see you in your own kitchen and even doing your recap! Whoooo eeeeee! We sure have missed you gal! Now that's a morning greeting the way it should be done. The rest of us are pretty feeble in our attempt to keep the coffee on and the biscotti jar full! Sure is good to see you here!

Headed out to see DGD in first home game tonight. Coach told me she kept her in most of the game night before last at the away game. I guess only pulled her for a few minutes in 3rdQ. Glad to hear she's doing so well. I have my new camera in tow for tonight's game. maybe tomorrow you will get a peek at her!

Wow...Weeee....Barbzeee's here today!!! I'm so glad for her run-down on everyone cause I've been busy trying to get Gifts, etc. out in the mail and haven't been here as often as I'd like the last 2 days...........Thanks, Sista'...

The wind has been blowing here for the last 2 days....15-20mph....with gusts into the 30s......whistling and howling around the 5er.....bring the windchill to about 40 and the "real" temp at 60...burrrrrrrr......but, weatherman has things improving maybe this weekend.....can't fish with this wind.....I want to go fishing.... .................

Okay, grabbing another cup of coffee and going to read what's going on....Hot Oatmeal here in the pot...help yourself....

This is a nice surprise!! Glad to see you back in your kitchen Barbzeee. No one does it like you do!!! Coffee smells great and I'm headed to get a cup. Raining here!! A cup of hot coffee sounds like just what I need to start the day. Tobey sure didn't want to go outside this morning!! Had to bribe him with a couple treats!! Poor doggie---he is so abused!! LOL!! GM Zeee, and yes, I get the hint - if I tell you there is a present for you from the TX GTG sisters - the least I can do is get it to you. I can see the box right now - it's even addressed - will get to the post office tomorrow - I'll tell Sparkle we HAVE to go there and I'm sure she'll make sure. Oh, and Lori is coming by here Fri - so I'm sure she'll be slappin' me around for not having mailed it yet - so see, I'll have people making sure I do my duty!

Later today I'm making appts for Sparkle and I to see the dentist in MX next week. Ah, and I brought Sparkle with me to bingo the other night- she had a blast - so I think I'm going to be playing more bingo than I had been. She doesn't play poker, but has said she'll come along and drink hootch on Sunday night at the bar while I play. Who could ask for a better friend?

That said, it went from southern windy yesterday to northern windy today - meaning a big drop in termperature - feels like winter on the TX coast today. brrrrrrrrrrrrr - Good thing down here - is it doesn't last too long - and the winds will change direction and we'll have some warmth again. Meantime, I'm in layers of clothes.

Today should be my last 4 day work week - as I'm not scheduled to cover for anyone now for the rest of the month. Yippee - 3 days will be more than enough 6 am days But am 3 hours into today - then 3 days off - gonna be nice to switch to 3 on/4 off starting next week.

Yipeeeeeee, Zeee's in the kitchen. Love those recaps, girl. Did some Christmas shopping yesterday and actually wrapped them. Ran out of ribbon and paper so back to the store today. Yuk! I love giving the presents but HATE shopping. Am watching the senate hearings with the BIg Three auto makers. Would someone please tell me how any company can blame their business failure on the economy when they are producing autos like the Hummer and those huge SUV's and the best selling autos in this country are small midsize cars like Toyota and Honda? I just don't understand why someone needs a Hummer to take their four year old to daycare. I know my RV doesn't get good mileage but ITS MY HOUSE I'm moving down the road. Okay, I'll get off my soapbox now. Dogs whining to go out. I'm at their beck and call. I know who's boss here.

Echo....I have no idea what on earth kind of job you have gotten yourself into....but, I certainly hope when you are working all those overtime hours that you are getting paid overtime money! It sounds as if you are working in an old-fashioned sweatshop-type place!

School was very busy today, and I always look forward to Thursdays because that means Friday is coming! And tomorrow is a pay day for us, too!!! HALLEELLOOOOOOOOOOOOYAHHHH!

Time for me to eat here.....just came back from a quick walk as darkness set in almost before Molly and I could get on the trai!
