Tuesday. April 3rd

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Tuesday. April 3rd

Good Morning all,

Sorry, couldn't think of a more catchy title to start off the day with here. Tired of posting cloudy, or snowy or whatnot. No complaints about cloudy today though as I want to clean house and do some shopping and if the sun is shining it will make me want to do other things instead and my week is going by fast enough as is. 5 more days and back to work I go.

I have a feeling the Echo is enjoying having a day off. From her job that is. Days off per say are really only from that kind of work. We always have plenty of other work when we are off from our jobs like laundry, house or rig cleaning, shopping and what not it seems. Have to to back to work to rest up  When you work summers, it makes the whole summer just fly by and then it's over and done before you realize it and colder weather is heading back in again. Unless you live where it's warm all the time. We are going to have a glorious week though after today and I want to enjoy it.

Uncovered my TT yesterday and it's all nice and sparkly clean under it's winter cover. No need to do much of anything other than ran a dust cloth around a bit and washed the floor. So much for that. Was going to wash the truck too, but decided to wait on that till tomorrow due to possible rain showers today.

Otherwise nothing new here. So I shall be off and get busy here. Just wanted to say hi this morning. Everybody have a wonderful day no matter what you are doing. Drive safe if on the roads.

GOOD MORNING SISTAHS!!!

Day off and up any way! HA! Boy did I screw up yesterday!!! I was suppose to be at work by 9am.....I didn't make it! I had looked at the schedule and could have sworn that it had said 1pm. ~sigh~ I am sooooooo stinking paranoid at being late and late I was. Got good and razzed all dang day at work. Everyone including the 2 leads rubbed it in good. Got the voice-mail message as I was leaving home and made it to the dish line in 20min. stayed till closing. We ended up getting hammered at work. Don't know why but the lead said we were way over what had been projected. More than once there were 5 of us on the dish line! Boy oh boy did I ache last night.

Sue is right, day off but still have to work. Right here at home. Have laundry to do, cleaning and supper to put in the crockpot. Will clean out the back of the truck too finally. Just might find my sewing box! I really need that sewing box cause I need to turn up the hem on my uniform pants one more time. They measured me at the fitting but all three pairs of my pants are to long and I end up walking on the cuff of them. Gads I hate that, not to mention that they sure do get soaked around that dishwasher.

OK, time to get another cup of coffee and do some reading. Hope ya'll have an awesome day, have fun doing whatever!!! Be safe!

Love to all

The weather that came through about noon yesterday was nothing compared to what we had about mid-night. It was raining hard, hailing and lightening. There were several close strikes but don't see any damage. For a while 4 of the cats and I were in the utility room. Usually there is a lot of hissing and spitting if they are close to each other but not then. My DH slept through it.

Yesterday I was waiting for a washer and dryer to be delivered. Stine finally called about 3 and told me they couldn't get here until about 5 and wanted to know if they could come this morning. Well, it noon and haven't heard from them yet. I tried to get what I wanted at Lowes and a local dealer but they didn't have what I wanted. I ordered an entertainment center from Stine Lbr in 2006. They showed up very late and unannounced and told my DH that it wouldn't fit through the door so they left it on the carport. I couldn't believe he let them get away with that. They just didn't want to bring it in the house. They were running late and dumped everything in the truck. We ended up with parts for about 4 other jobs and parts of ours missing. Doesn't look like things have changed much in 6 years.

At this very moment there is a very large tornado on the ground (for the last 30 minutes) in the SE Dallas county and another one on the ground west of there.

The reports show quite a bit of damage. I was amazed at this video, showing 18 wheeler trailers being tossed so high in the air. Just think what that would do to a rv! http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/04/0 ... d=webmail1

Vickie, that is amazing video! That is one powerful twister! I hope all our Sistahs are OK there!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
