Sunday Morning

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Sunday Morning

Postby Colliemom » Sun Apr 01, 2012 6:37 am

:D Good Morning all,

This day is wearing many hats today, April Fools Day, RABBITS Day, Palm Sunday and maybe even some other unknown to me things.
Hoe you all remembered to say RABBITS. I didn't as I was awaken by Sassy who wanted to go out and that was more on my mind than RABBITS was. Hope Soos remembered as she usually always does.

After reading yesterdays Morning Coffee posts, it seems like everybodys on the move for the most part. Paulette, it may be that if it's cloudy, it's hard to get motivated to get up and going. I knw it is for me. When the sun shines, you will be up and ready though.

Irmi, I am so glad to hear that you mon's test turned out so well. Hopefully the original diagnosis was a misdiagnosis. I hear that happpened to a friend of a friend up here once. Was sick and went to hospital, diagnosis came back as a cancer of the lung. Was sent to a bigger reginal hospital and they said no cancer, just an extremely bad case of pneumonia  So hopefull you will be able to enjoy your summer without too much worry. I"ll bet they were glad to see you and Steve when you got home though.

Echo, congrats on all the acolades you are getting at work. If that keeps up, you will get promoted to Team Leader before the summer is out :D By the way, any news on the other trailer yet?

I went over to the RV show yesterday. Wasn't really worth it, but was fun looking at what rigs were there. Mostly bigger than I would want, but boy the new ones out this year are really nice with all their amenities etc. I did see one there, that if I were seriously looking for a TT, i would consider though. A Palamino Gazelle Ultra Light, 21 footer. Very nice and very comfortably laid out. But it was a pretty drive going over with the trees leafing out over there more than here, the tulips up and showing their pretty colors and the forsythia bushes in full bloom. Only problem is, they are way too early. That shouldn't be till early May, but the recent cold weather hasn't seemed to bother them although it has slowed the leave growth down a bit. Nature knows how to compensate herself, man just has to stand back and leave well enough alone. And of course the "girls" were glad to see me when I got home and we went for a nice long walk.

So, am heading off to Palm Sunday mass here in a bit and then pass by the store and pharmacy on my way home. Not sure what I will get into today. Depends on weather. Supposed to become sunny later on, but they have been saying that for the past three days or so it seems, and we only saw a little bit of blue sky late yesterday, that's all. There's just a little bit of fog out there this moring, more like a haze but no rain, at least here.

Have a nice day all.

OOD MORNING SUE AND ALL!

I can't remember if I made RABBITS this morning, or not, as I got up twice in the night trying to get comfortable and can't remember if I said anything before I did remember this morning and shouted RABBITS. So....time will tell, I guess.

Sue, my hometown dealer had a couple of Palamino Gazelles on the property last year when I visited, and I had them fill out a buy deal for me. I still owe too much on this trailer to make a change right now, but the Gazelle, with one slide and all, was still lighter than my own TT. The only thing that was a downer for me was the ability to store just one battery rather than two----they said it could be modified, but the price was prohibitive even without that modification. Palamino makes a good trailer. As I recall, it even had a bathtub and a lot of storage cupboard space in the bathroom. It seemed lower and much more streamlined than my Hideout, too.

It's cool so far, but due to get into the high 80s and perhaps hit 90 today, so I guess it will be a pool day when I get moving. Other than that, I plan to take it easy as I really hurt last night when I tried to go to sleep----had to go take two more Ibuprofen to make the first 4 of the day yesterday. So far, I seem to hurt less this morning. This pain is getting old and annoying.

Hope all of you are having good weather and smooth sailing on the roads. As Sue mentioned, it's a many-faceted day. I can get some palms from my own trees and remember my forays to church back in the days when I used to go in my youth.
Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!

GOOD MORNING SISTAHS!!!

Up, mostly awake and need to get up and pour more coffee for the internal motor to run on. Jeeze we were busy yesterday at work. When I walked into the kitchen the guy helping the dishwasher said he was real glad to 'see me'. Which of course meant that he could clear out and go back to busing! Let me tell you, by time the night was over I was feeling every inch, every minute of work. I think every fraction of my body ached. Even my feet were achy last night. They said that today should be a better. They have all been warning me,"Wait for Kids Fest". Which I am thinking lasts all summer!!! It starts in May and lasts close to 4 months!! Hopefully I will be well up to speed. But I'm telling you that I don't think I have ever worked so hard at another job. I am gonna earn every penny of my paycheck this season. If I live thru this I should be good to go to work at any job!!  The lead night closer had to get after the dishwasher last night as he was dragging his feet and taking his time breaking down and doing his cleaning. She said he does it all the time trying to get extra time on the clock and that she gets notes and talking too from the higher ups. He got in a huge huff and stomped off and out of the park when we locked the doors and wouldn't talk to any of us.

Kelly is happy as one of her bestest friends is planning on coming down with her uncle and staying in one of the camping cabins for a couple of nights. So she will be off and running with the friend for a couple of days. She is going thru the cell bill online right now as when I paid the bill yesterday the girl I talked to said for the past month we had went over our minutes. Jeeze we have 1500 shared anytime minutes on the plan. So Kelly is looking things over and she said she did something like 1365 texts!!!  Mostly with this BFF. Thankfully we have unlimited text. But I guess David is the guilty one for the extra minutes. Was gonna raise the roof but I really can't say to much as he has been looking for work. ~sigh~

OK need to get a move on and catch up on what ya'll have been doing. Hope everyone has a super day, have lots of fun, relax to the max and do it all safely!!

Love to all

Morning. I'm slow going this morning as I was up late last night studying and taking an assessment test. C'mon July!!!

Sue, I'm thinking that I may make a trip up your way come July/August. We are having our family reunion up that way next year and I do want to make another trip up there to check things out for our activities. We have the location picked out and reservations made at our backup location but can't make reservations at our primary location until November.

Need to go finish my backsplash mod on the Land Dinghy - not sure it's coming out as well as I would like.

And I have a question - what's with the RABBITS?

good morning ladies
I did not remember to say RABBITS, and neither did I win the lottery  but I do have good health and hope it continues
to be good.
Don't think it ever reached 90 yesterday, haven't had the news on to find out but it was pretty nice and feels nice out
today already.
Did not get to meet the two older ladies yesterday and we're shootin for today. We will see.
Still trying to find a good home for Lacey, have turned down a few prospects as they were not able to keep her as an
indoor kitty. One guy wanted a barn cat and another one lived in a condo community that had a neighborhood owl that
kept the ferrel cats down to a minimum. They didn't know I knew that fact but I pick up one of my students over there
and watched the owls raise a family this year. The last fledgling left the nest this week. (there were 3) I do have one
more interested prospect that would be perfect and keeping my fingers crossed to hear good news Monday.
Guess I'll finish off the coffee pot and get busy for the day. Ya'll have a great day and be safe.

So thankful Irmi for the good news on your mother's biopsy.

Soosie, hope your ribs are healing faster every day and you are feeling much better before hitting the road. I know you do not want to drive not feeling well.

Echo, I suspect you are a very hard worker. The restaurant is very lucky to have you.

The same thing happened to my mom once. She was told she had pancreatic cancer and only had a short time to live. I asked for more tests and a second opinion. Turns out she had pancreatitis and just needed an antibiotic! Sure scared the crap out of all of us and I was furious with the "cancer specialist" who misdiagnosed her.

Ava, I would love to take Lacey if I didn't already have Lola (actually "Lola and Lacey" sound good together!). Hopefully, she will get a great new home soon!

Echo, don't work yourself into another heart attack now!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
