Letterboxing today

This afternoon, I found my first letterbox. Instead of trying to fight with Photobucket, I wrote about it on my blog, including pictures. Check it out. This could be a lot of fun.

I checked the zip code for my small town and found clues for dozens that are hidden. Some were dated from 2002! One of the newer ones is hidden in some bushes by a bank. Don't know if I want to be digging around the bushes at a bank unless it's later at night. Or even then the cops might haul me off! lol

Lenora, if you're going to be rooting around a bank at night be sure and wear dark clothiing and a ski mask - HA !!!

Chris this sounds really interesting. This could take you on all kinds of adventures and into some very interesting places. Have fun with it. Where did you get your first set of clues for this location?

Chris, I went to the website thinking there wouldn't be anything for my hometown but there were several. Sounded like fun so I have a stamp and thought of a name. I need to get a box and a log to hide one of my own. Just the thing for the winter blahs. Thanks
