It finally quit raining and I woke up. I thought I'd check out the campfire. It was almost out but I thre the rest of Sheila's logs on. Got the fire blazing again. It sure feels good. Of course I am in my sweats and snuggled up with my blanket. There is nothing like a warm cracling fire in the middle of the night. Got my hot chocolate here and a few choc. chip cookies. Just enjoying the fire!!

And I've got a big box of homemade chocolate chip cookies,... here I'll pass them around the campfire circle. They are some more of the cooking spree my friend Kath and I did yesterday. I think I'll run back to the camper and fix a big thermos of hot chocolate for anyone who wants some,... Love the fire, it's burning brightly since you added the logs,... smokes going straight up,.. yeah!

Oh, that fire feels so good on this damp morning - and the hot chocolate tastes great. Much better than the Nestle Carb Select stuff I make for myself -

Gonna sit here and enjoy this wonderful fire for a bit.

Boy---good thing I got here when I did. The fire was almost out. I used some kindling and got it going again. I threw on a bunch of wood and got a nice hot fire warming me. Sure do need a warm campfire this morning. I also got a big pot of water boiling over the fire with all the fixin's for campfire omlets. Make yours the way you like it and throw it in the pot!! Got some coffee too!!! It is too cold for one off the wall this morning!!!

Boy Fernie, thanks for the roaring fire. Just returned from my cruise in the tropics to cold snowy weather sothe fire hit the spot. I'll post some beautiful pictures later. Just wanted to stop in and say hey. Not gonna take a beer tonight, I'm trying to dry out from 9 days of drinking.

Dang, I could sure use you firebuilders here at my place for the winter! You could keep this stove stoked while I am at work so when I got home I wouldn't be able to see my breath in here!

Sigh....fire feels good this morning with my coffee!

Hey, Soos, we'll keep stoking it for you - unfortunately, I'm afraid it'll only work if your fire is a virtual one - and you need the real thing!

Lots of hot chocolate here to share this am. Bring a mug and fill 'er up.

Do you all realize that this "Campfire" has been going for 4 months on Friday?? :o :o Thanks, Fernie, for starting it and it sure is alot of fun..... ;)

Cedar started the Beer song and tally and folks have been adding and taking "one down"....btw, the count is 104 bottles of beer on the wall......what great fun!!

Just had Ernie stack another truck load of fire wood and since it's morning, I'm sitting here, with my coffee, by a roaring fire waiting for the rest of you to get here...scrambled egg and bacon camper pies all hot and waiting.....hot cocoa, too.... will do the beer thing later in the day..... ;)

Gee, there's a little Blue Spruce tree right here by the camp site.....how about those who are good with cyber art work...do the decorating....

Lets keep the fire going....

I just brought out a couple strings of Christmas lights and a long lead cord. This little tree is going to look great by the campfire. And I'll also bring some birdfood!

I'm here with me coffee from Zeees kitchen. I love the smell of the fire----especiially in the winter months. A few people burn wood around here and I smell their smoke when I step outside. Thanks for bringing the lights Cedar!! I think I saw a couple Cardinals eating the berries off the holly tree a bit ago!! I'm all snuggled up around the fire!! Thanks Ernie for bringing more wood. I'm gonna grab one off the wall to celebrate our fire!! That leaves 103 I think. Keep me on the right track Lori!! HA HA
