TGIF!!!

GOOD MORNING SISTAHS!!!

Yep it's Friday and it doesn't count for me or a lot of others. I still have to work tomorrow.

I am up and semi mobile, hopefully as the morning progresses I will be moving more freely. Jeepers I ache all over!  That's what I get for being a lazy bum this past winter. Tho to tell you the truth I'm not sure just how much walking would have done for me to get me prepared for this job. Walking would have helped my legs and back but sure not my arms and shoulders! I guess I should have been lifting weights over the winter!! Then I could muscle the dishes out to the buffet. Today will be day 2 and I am determined to survive the second day of work. Or at least I'm hoping to. :?

I don't know what the temp is here at the moment but it's sure chilly in the trailer. I'm sitting here with a sweatshirt on and get the shivers every few minutes. Both fans were running and blowing when I got up as Kelly had left both on. Brrrrrr I did turn mine off as it blows directly on me while I'm sitting at the table but  Kelly put up a big grumble as the noise of the fans cover what little noises I make. Can't do anything about the light so she covered up her head!

I need to go get a shower and while the idea of nice hot water is inviting the thought of getting nekkid to get under that hot water does not thrill me. But I will have to suffer the goose bumps until I'm under the shower and then until I'm dressed. Have to do it before Kelly closes the bathrooms too. No favoritism played here!! ;)

Got coffee waiting on ya'll and the pot is all set ready to make another one. Only have a little 4 cupper. Will probably pick up a bigger pot this summer as Kelly has been stealing my coffee in the mornings. Hope ya'll have a great day and enjoy doing whatever it is that comes your way. Stay safe everyone!!

Love to all

Morning Echo and all,

I know just how you feel about getting back to work after a long winter's rest. It usually takes me two weeks to get into the groove, not be as tired and maybe a bit sore. But this year I decided to join the gym in January and with the three times a week workouts, I have gotten myself into shape and am expecting to be able to hit the ground running when I go back. Well, hopefully anyway. And walking the dogs each day has kept my legs strengthened as well. Now, getting used to having to get up at a set time each day, is another matter  Hang in there Echo, after awhile you will be moving those dishes around like nothing.

Well, the best laid plans of mice and men just went out the window for me this morning. Had planned on driving over to Traverse City (60 miles) to a small RV show, look at the rigs there just for some fun and watch like minded people doing the same, have lunch out, run a couple of errands and then tool on home. Nice drive over and back especially since I haven't been over there since last August. Mom Nature has other plans. Like snow/rain/sleet for the day. Some accumulations are possible etc. So......... I will stay home. Will go tomorrow as it's supposed to be a nice day. In the meantime I will start on my Summertiime Welcome sign now that some ideas are starting to pop into my head. Plan to make the lettering template and get that transferred to the board and maybe start painting the lettering in.

Fun reading about everybody getting ready to dewinterize and start making their plans for summer trips, campouts and what not. Am envious of those heading to AK this summer. However, timing is not right for me. I've been to AK and have other places on my bucket list as well, not that I don't want ot go back. I'm sure there will be others of us heading that way down the line here.

Gosh Lenora, you guys are sure getting the "water" out in the PNW. I think that would drive me to put my place up For Sale and high tail it to better climates. I would rather take the snow than rain cause at least you can get out and enjoy the snow if you want whereas rain, there's not much you can do.

Well, enough jabbering here. Off to to make my bed and take a nice leisurly bath, then go cut the board for the sign and......

Have a wonderful day all.

I feel your pain, Echo. I have been sitting at my desk and in my lazyboy for far too many years. One of my goals in my travels will be to get out and walk more since I won't have to spend so much time working two jobs. I absolutely positively know I am terribly out of shape and will be in agony for a while!

Just got back to my office after going to the credit union. Got a check for the motorhome and another one for the taxes and title from my account. I also have certicates of insurance, so I am ready for tomorrow's pickup!! Heading down to Ohio around 4:00 pm today. Planning on stopping at one camping store to get one of those folding rocking chairs I have been eyeing up for myself!!

I also have a mini-van rear end full of kitchen things I have bought or found buried in all my junk, and some bedding I sorted out of all my stuff. Tossed in paper towels and cleaning supplies and a couple of rugs to keep things clean.

I am thinking of taking a week off at the end of April or beginning of May and going up into northern Michigan to say goodbye to some cousins and my niece and her family. This is assuming things are slow enough at work for me to take time off. It would be a good shakedown cruise and give me some time in it alone. Son and family and I are going to take an overnight in a couple of weeks for an initial shakedown.

So, Sue, I may be stopping by!

Ah, please do Judy. Where abouts are your family and friends? By teh end of April, the state parks up here will be open for camping, sme are going to be the first week of April. But most won't have their restroom facilities ready yet. Have to wait till around the first weekend in May for that. But water is always available and dump stations are usable. Let me know when you are coming "up north" Heck, you can boondock at my place. You are more than welcome. I would love to see you new rig.

Know I'm late but I spent the day at doctors' appointments. I had a 9:30 gyno appt, but didn't see her until after 11 - grrrrr. She prescribed an antifungal powder for a fungal infection she saw on my abdomen so I had to wait to get that filled - finally pull out about 12:15 and get a phone call - "are you coming in for you pre-colonoscopy screening? You were supposed to be here at 10:30." Um, first, it wasn't on my schedule so I didn't know about it and second I was still waiting for my 9:30 at 10:30. "Well, we can get you in at 1:00". So I turned around and went in and waited for another 45 minutes. Now I know how to prep for my colonoscopy - just don't know when it is.

Still need to work on my paper due tonight. I will get right on it... as soon as I finish reading my boards :D

Yes, it is afternoon, but I worked all morning doing good things. Maggie don't you just love it when the docs remind you of your 9 a.m. appointment but they don't see you for 2 hours. urgh. I try to get the first appointment of the day with the docs. Most of the others will be pretty much on time.

Still have coffee left from this morning and was thinking about getting some dinner running as I am getting hungry. That lunch salad has wasted awwwwaaayy.

Maybe we need another thread for Afternoon Sippings.
