Thursday and off to work

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Thursday and off to work

GOOD MORNING SISTAHS!!!

Gee where is everyone? It's 8:21am here and I'm the first in one to offer coffee??? Bunch of lazy bums!!

Just got my hair washed and now gonna get dressed for my first day. Training and work! YAY!! Will love getting back to work and off my butt! Poor thing has spread enough without the continued sitting on it and spreading it even more. Nervous and excited at the same time. Really dislike the idea of wearing a white shit to do dishes in tho. That and I have to tuck it in too. I think I was in my early 20's the last time I wore a shirt tucked in.

Need to get my butt in gear tho. I have a real thing about being late so I tend to get there early, which is good of course. Hope everyone has a super day and is safe and happy all day. Wish me luck ya'll.

Love to all

Morning all...I'm up but overslept this morning...which makes for a fun morning getting the gd up and out the door. She actually had to run for the bus this morning. But, the important thing is that she made it!

Today is de winterizing day! I'm leaving here Sunday for 5 days at a local state park. It's spring break, so gd doesn't have school. She will spend a long weekend with her mom and then come stay the last few days with me. Should be exciting, as it will be the first campout with the kitten, the old man cat and the old lady dog! Mostly I want to evaluate the old lady dog and see if she is going to be physically able to travel with me this summer. Last summer was pretty hard on her as she has arthritis and her back legs are pretty worn out. Makes it hard for her coming in the rv. The old man cat isn't too thrilled with the traveling, but is okay once we are parked. And the kitten, well, we shall see! I've got to figure out logistics too, such as where am I going to put a litter box so the old lady dog doesn't "snack" (yuck)! And so the old man cat, who has trouble now with jumping, will be able to get to it without any problems. And I thought packing my dad and his oxygen machine was a challenge!

Anyway, I'm getting excited but have to get busy and get the de winterizing done, make sure the pantry is stocked, see what needs to go bsck out there from the house, etc.

It's my favorite time of the year, and always have loved the first trip of the season!

Hope everyone has a wonderful day wherever you are.

Good Morning Echo and rest of WomenRV,

Truth be told, I was up but was reading posts on some of the other threads as I was hoping somebody else would lead off the coffee this orning. Some days i am just out of words to put down here. Same old, same old. Nobody wants to hear about it being chilly and damp here anymore, that's old news. But it is chilly and damp here

Nothing on the agenda here this morning. House is cleaned, washing done, too chilly to do anythng outside, no gym class, gas is up, so no running around too far right now. Might go into town and look for another jacket and also need to hunt for the cell phone I am looking for (Tracphone, but want a certain model). Also kind of thinking about maybe going to visit a friend of mine down the road about 30 miles. Had planned on going to an RV show tomorrow but weather is calling for a mix of rain/sleet in the moring, so may either go on Saturday or forget the whole thing. Have gas money already set aside for it. Always a fun day to go over to that little show. Nothing big, just about 50 rigs, but fun to browse around with like minded people and run a few errands while over there. It's in Traverse City, which is about 60 miles southwest of here. Let's just say I've got a case of cabin fever right now.

So good luck on your first day at work. Always a bit nerve wracking till you get the hang of it and into the routine. You will do fine. As to everybody else, have a wonderful day.

Good morning !!! Wishing you good luck today, Echo. You'll do fine and so hoping that things will continue to keep looking up for you and Kelley.

Paulette, hope you have a great time next week, wee bit of envy here, just have to keep chugging along here for another month and then it won't be the same ole, same ole for me.

Dr. keeps wanting this checked and that checked, hope he keeps in mind that I am gone first part of May. Oh well, want everything working well, while I'm playing this summer

Wishing you all the prettiest of days and hope you get some fun for yourself in it also. Most of all, Please all stay safe.

Paulette - have you thought of some sort of ramp for your puppy dog? I'm thinking I'm going to be needing one soon for the Old Man getting into the truck. It's a pretty high scramble at the best of times and he's starting to be a lot more creaky and grumpy :o

I've been up and at work, but life is crazy this week at work.

Today is my Friday - thank goodness. I need to study tomorrow, work on the trailer (more mods) and start getting things ready for next week. Actually I have a lot done as far as the camping gear, just need to get my gear and the groceries organized. And it's supposed to rain tomorrow - so that may actually be conducive to studying. Oh yeah, I have a doctor's appointment in the morning as well.

My DH woke me up about 5:00 making noise. Helped him find what he was looking for and went back to bed. Didn't wake up until almost 9:00. I had a busy day yesterday. My motorhome was ready so brought my van to the Ford place to get it serviced and got my son to bring me to the RV place. Brought my motorhome back and started unloading some of the stuff so my sister can make the next trip. The Ford place called about 4:00 so hurried up and got a ride to pick up the van. Planted my 2 blueberry bushes when I got back. Need to find another hose so I can water the new plants.

I need to study my room available(which isn't much) to see what I can do so I don't have to keep unloading things when my sister comes with me. I have tried some plastic drawers but the ones I have don't hold enough. Guess I don't have to travel with everything I own. I don't know why I worry about what food to bring because if my sister is with me she always wants to eat out. If I'm by myself a sandwich is good for me. Have to think about what to make for the pot lucks.

Echo, good luck with your first day. I went on a bus trip to Dollywood once. It was in December and there wasn't much open but I remember we did a lot of walking.

Morning! Just a smidge after 10 here in the dreary, rainy PNW! They are predicting record amounts of rain. Our ground is so saturated that trees are toppling over! :o
I keep hearing about all you gals revving up to take to the roads and I sure wish I could be, too. Heavy snows in the passes and avalanche danger kinda boxes us in here in the valley.

All that talk about RV insurance made me revisit my policy. I had actually forgotten my RV insurance is with Progressive, not The Hartford like my home and auto. I went online and looked at my policy and had some questions so gave them a call. The policy I have I did right after getting the Rv when I hadn't a clue exactly what kind of coverage I needed. The gal at Progressive went thru everything with me and we talked at length on each item. I upped the Bodily inj/Prop. damage, underinsured motorist and a couple other things. I did remember to ask about vehicle replacement and if I'm covered in other states. I'm good there. I was also concerned about what coverage I had should my RV cause any damage to surrounding RVs at my RV storage place (or at a CG). My Little Missy is surrounded by huge Class As. So I upped that, also. Total extra on my premium will be $37 a yr. Still under $600.

I have a bit of a lower backache but I know it's from all the laying around I've been doing, reading from my iPad. I downloaded The Hunger Games to my Kindle app and have been devouring it! The movie trailers play up the "kids killing kids" aspect, but there's so much more to the story. Kinda on the premise of The Postman movie or Waterworld.

Ok, need some breakfast. Good luck, Echo, on your first day at work. (don't know if I'd like wearing that white SHIRT?) I think that's what you meant.

Prayers for all those needing help thru the day. The Lord knows who you are.
