Looks like everyone is sleeping in today. I threw a pot of coffee on and got out the peanut butter for toast with peanut butter. That's all I have time for this morning. Bash has a dr. appointment with her surgeon today and Tobey is going to have play time at the pet resort!!

Well, I'm here and would love some peanut butter toast, but I'll have mine with a cuppa tea thank you! Sounds like you have a busy day ahead.

Wow, everyone must have been like me and overslept this morning and ran out without visiting. I just ran in to walk Peaches, grab a cup of hot chocolate and check the board before getting back to work.

I'm checking in from here at work. This morning was crazy for me, I got hooked by a movie last night and watched until 11 p.m. Waaaaaay past my bedtime. so this a.m. I was walking around in a sleepy haze. Oh! do I ever need that coffee!

Good morning ladies. Cold here this morning so hot coffee sounds really good. My water hose is in the process of defrosting so will take my shower when I can get water. NOT looking forward to walking the dogs. Has been really windy the last couple of days so took my awning down. What a pain!! Have to take the lights off first and then put everything back up when the awning goes back out. Wish I could figure out a way to hang the lights WITHOUT hanging them from the awning. Any suggestions? Well, can't put it off any longer - the dogs want out for their walk. Brrrrr.

Good morning at noon for every one else. It's only 8:00 here in Vegas. Going up to 70 here again today but is cloudy and overcast now. Today we are going to go down to the Strip and play tourist and see all the new stuff since we moved away. Mind you that was just a little more than 1 1/2 years ago. Driving down there last nite I saw a couple of new hotels that werent there then and lots of other stuff - cafes etc. Last nite was beautiful so we drove the Strip both ways. That is an experience like no other in the world. Will add pictures later.
Finally got our credit card mess straightened up - I hope! They sent us new ones after we left and the PO returned them so the cc company cancelled the acct. What a mess. Couldn't call them from home phone. When they overnighted them to us here they were okay for one day then went into REFUSED again. Called again - explaination "When they are sent by UPS the computer doesn't recognize them as being sent??!??" Okay - so they will order them again to be sent by USmail to home address NOOOOOOOOO!!!! Supervisor replied - "Oh but they won't mail them it will just fool the computer." Guess it worked as they are okay again. And this is the cc I have all my household bills paid on. EGAD. Time will tell.
Got to do a little cleaning today - maybe I should ask my son if he has a house cleaner with extra time today. He has a cleaning service here in Vegas and unfortunatelly it is booming - he is cleaning and maintaining foreclosed houses. Says some of them really bother him. When he can see the people tried to clean them before they left - others have torn them out to quote him "Real a**holes."
just heard on the news the power company is raising rates 17% in the near future.

Yep....I'll confess.... I really slept in late today.....8:30am........then I worked on "ripping" some CDs to the laptop to ready them to be "burned" to an MP3 player....never did it before and had to call DS to walk me thru it..... It's Mike & Donna's MP3 player and they couldn't figure it out....so Lori to the rescue... Cause "you've done cds"...per Ernie......am now waiting for them to come back from where ever they went, so I can show them the "how To" on the whole proceedure.......We did a little Christmas shopping today...and now you are all up to date.....

Good afternoon, once again! I am finding too much to do in the mornings to get in here to make coffee and try to figure out what everyone would like to eat. Soooo.....I will have coffee now with some toddy for the body in it, and eat my one last pistachio muffin! This is a VERY late brunch!

Temperature is 29 now.....just below freezing by a little bit. Very hard winds today, and snow showers all day. I need to take Molly out for a walk, as skiing would be too cold in this wind!

Goood ? Morning ? Sistahs!???

I over slept this morning and didn't have time for even a fly by this morn. Gods I woke up a 6:50am. We walk out the door in the morning usually at 7:15am. sheesh! I stumbled ran to the potty and threw my jammies on while sitting on the throne. Grabbed a cup of coffee on my way out the door with Shade. Spent 10minutes out there with her. She decided to explore the whole yard before she found the blade of grass that was just right for a little watering. Came in and stuck my head in the kitchen sink to wash my hair. I had planned on a shower this morn!!! Har-de-har-har! Towel dried my hair and by time I got dressed Kelly was out of the shower and back in her room getting dressed so I could brush my hair and put on some mascara. Looked thru some paperwork for a letter from Maine IRS and it was time to get our butts out the door. I didn't even lift the lid on this thing this morning.

Got off work and out of the parking lot at close to 7:30pm went and had supper at the local Shoneys and got home close to 9pm. And before it hits 10:30pm I will have my happy azz in bed. I'm pooped.

I have got to move my alarm farther away from my bed!!!!
