Sweet Kiwi has gone to the Rainbow Bridge

Postby Getupngo » Sat Mar 17, 2012 4:27 pm

Today Kiwi passed gently from this world, in my arms. Her last act was licking my arm.

She had two seizures yesterday, one of which left her limp as a rag doll. Each seizure took something from her. And I decided not to let her go on to the bitter end. She still had her dignity -- and mama holding her close.

Kiwi after a clip ... her little polartek jacket kept her snuggly.

Hugs to you, Janice. No matter how much it was expected, it doesn't make it any easier.

Janice, I'm so sorry.
It's not an easy thing to do.
Isn't it great to think about all the love you shared over the years?

So very sorry MF. Hugs going out to you.

Awww! So sorry about you losing Kiwi. It is sometimes necessary to help them cross the Bridge, but it never gets any easier. Keep the memories handy (and the tissues).
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Oh no....I'm so sorry for your loss. I had to put my Rottie to sleep this past Thursday so I know how hard it is. I miss my baby very much. I had her 11 years.
Take care, Julie
