Wonderful Wednesday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Wonderful Wednesday

Postby Colliemom » Wed Mar 14, 2012 6:50 am

Good Moooorning,

How are we all doing this beautiful morning. Can you tell I'm getting spring fever. Today is the beginning of a big warm spell that is predicted to last almost all of next week too. Temps in the mid 60's and even 70's with some rain showers thrown in between. I am going to so enjoy it. Although it doesn't come without worry for the farmers and also for the fact that things are going to start budding and growing earlier then they should and will be in big trouble when another cold snap hits. Oh well, we can't control Mother Nature. Also making for an early wildfire season as well.

Today is gym class and then must go to store and pick up a few things. Plan to get into some window washing this afternoon and reinstall the screens I removed for the winter, so I can open some windows and let the nice fresh air into the house. And of course the dogs are going to want a walk as well.

Liz, I am so happy that you were able to get yourself a new "home on wheels" so fast. It is a beautiful rig and had I been looking for one, it may well have wound up in my driveway  I know you are going to enjoy it. I'm sorry it had to happen the way it did, but sometimes things happen for reasons beyond our understanding.

Sarah, I certainly hope you get to feeling much better. I had some issues with low blood pressure a few years ago and am doing fine now. I know how it is to be alone when you don't feel good. Same thing here for me. It gets scary cause you don't have anybody to call.

Kathleen, so happy to hear the results of your daughters test came back negative. That is great news and I know a big relief for you and her as well.

Echo and Kelly are on their way across the country heading toward home. I'm keeping them in my prayers for a safe and uneventful journey and like the rest of us, awaiitng the latest news from them when they can get a connection.

Reading about all the travels and travel plans that everybody's making for this summer sure makes me want to get on the road again. But it will have to wait a while here. Have my rig up for sale and want to do something different in that area, not sure just what yet. Will see when I get a buyer where I am going to go from here. Finances are really tight right now, so kind of have to sit tight for bit. But I can still plan :)

Well, time to be off and do some exploring on the site before it's time to get cleaned up and head off to town and gym. Only three weeks left and back to work we go. Starting date is April 9th this year. Be nice to see a paycheck again.

Have a wonderful day all, keep well and if you are under the weather, know that it shall pass, drive careful if on the road and everybody else just have a fun day regardless.

GOOD MORNING SUE AND ALL!

So you have once again made a decision about selling your trailer, eh? What is your price, if I may ask? Maybe you should put it on our trading post rooms? I can't remember the dry weight of your trailer, either, so that would be helpful to know. I am pretty sure yours is quite a bit lighter than mine, and hauling it with my truck might be a piece of cake. The only disadvantage is the lack of an outside storage space, if I remember.

The day has dawned bright and warm again, with not half the breeze of yesterday. It might be a perfect day to go swimming after my gastro meeting at another clubhouse at noon.

I hope that all on the roads have fair weather and fun rolling!

Happy travels!

It is going to be 77 here in Ohio. So.....I officially want to be driving somewhere in the short baby bus and not here. Sue, I know that you are looking forward to the parks opening up and heading off to work. You keep talking about decisions but haven't gone back to you decision thread so I'll wait till you do to chip in 2 cents worth.

Regardless of the calendar I am giving up and admitting spring is here. I start back to work on March 26. If I want any chance to head to AK I need those weeks for additional gas money and many be some $ to buy food for Mitch to cook. :)

It is more like summer here supposed to be near eighty for the next week it is 74 inside the house when it hits 75 I'm turning on the AC! Way too soon I want spring. It is beautiful though everything is in bloom.
I've had an annoying several days first the UTI infection, then hives :o :o as a reaction to meds, then some virus that's going around where you loose your voice, I sound like a teenage boy. I don't feel bad but I laugh every time I try to talk my voice sounds so funny. My friend are on spring break so I'm hoping I'll be back to normal by tomorrow so I can go someplace fun at least for the day.

I betting Mitch will have meal plans for the whole trip and enough prepared ahead for a couple of weeks! You'll be in good hands Tina!

So happy for those getting Spring weather. Here? It's cold and drizzly. Like Christine said, we had snow on Monday... ;)

Kelly just posted on FB that she and her Mom stayed the night about 40 mi east of Flagstaff and were taking I-40 across. They were having coffee at a Denny's this AM, so all is well.

What's with all the stomach ailments? My sister just went thru all that this last Fall. She still hasn't recovered 100%. Scary stuff. Hoping everyone finds a treatment that works and you get to feeling better.

Prayers continuing for Sheila's Larry. They found no blockage and he's starting to eat again.

Made reservations for the WA coast for next month, weather permitting. :x

Wishing everyone a great day and enjoy the nice weather when you can!

Thanks Lenora for posting about Kelly and Echo. I am thinking of them on their trip and hope they don't have any problems.

BJ, my sister had something where she lost her voice recently. It took her a long time to get over it. She smokes which doesn't help those kind of ailments.

It is partly sunny with some clouds that look like they could rain and 80 degrees. I need to finish cleaning out my rv so I can bring it in the morning. I would like to bring it this afternoon but this place doesn't have much parking. I don't know why some of these places don't plan better. There is only room for about 2 rv's in the service driveway and no shoulder on the road. I guess you are suppose to drive up and down the road until you can get in. That's my main complaint with some of the Vet places. You shouldn't have to unload a horse on the side of the road or in a parking lot in front of the building where you are blocking everyone with a trailer. The newest vet has 4 stalls with half doors and no fenced area if one gets out. He doesn't know horses very well.

Good afternoon
It is a beautiful day here too with temp in low 80s.

I am feeling better finally. Had to go back to clinic for another blood pressure check and evaluation on more IV fluids. BP is coming up a little - 114/60 today and Dr. did not order more fluids today. They will remove the IV port tomorrow if all continues to improve. Will try a little solid food tonight. Think I'll be over this crap by the time all the tests come back tho I guess it could be of some value to know what it was.

Thanks for the update on Echo & Kelly. Prayers for Shelia and Larry.

I've fallen way behind on welcoming all our new members; taking easy way out for now - WELCOME all new form ladies. I do look forward to meeting many of you and sharing your adventures here.

Wow! I slept 12 hours last night! Must have really been tired!

The weather out here is in the low 60's with rain predicted all weekend and may not even hit 60 on Sunday. Meanwhile back in Minnesota it is in the mid to upper 70's all week/weekend! What's wrong with this picture??

Speaking of blood pressure, mine is always around 90/50. I have to warn the nurses that it is always that low and that I am not dying!

BJ, I have had allergic reactions (ie. rashes) from lots of meds, but Sulfa in particular, so be sure you get the med that gave you a rash, on your allergy chart with the doctor so they don't give it to you again.

My roommate changed her wedding date AGAIN! Now it will be the Saturday on Memorial Day weekend. It will be a very small outdoor wedding so they can have it pretty much anytime. Wish they would do it sooner tho!

Better get ready for work here...have a great day! :D
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
