thanks to you all! I am looking forward to meeting some that I can around the actual campfire as well as in this great forum!
Birdie, I'd love to take you up on that but I will have to be working 8 hours a day while in Kerville. But there will be other opportunities I'm thinking.
And just adding this, if any of you are traveling through my area we have plenty of room for you to boondock here. We don't live in town and there is lots of space. You could be on the road or back in the pasture if you want some lonesome time! We have connections here for our 5th wheel and keep it hooked up most of the time. Around the holidays it comes in handy as we retreat to the RV and let the company have the house! But Steve (hubby) is planning to put in another set of full hookups for visitors. Its somewhere on his list (not sure where!).
We are about 27 miles due north of I-20 if you turn off at Colorado City and head north. Hubby seconded the invite. We always have coffee handy. I can't say most folk find it scenic here but we like it. This weekend they are having the rattlesnake roundup over in Sweetwater so there are a few things around here besides wide open spaces...which we have a lot of.
Come to think of it, we could hook you up for electric and water if you parked behind the house....
