Come on in and say hello.

new here, hello!

Hi all! I followed a link from the RV forum comm., very curious about a site for women RVrs. Read a few of your posts and just wanted to join your group! Hope there is room for another from Texas. I live about 25 miles west of Sweetwater. Years ago we started with a small 5th wheel, then later a TT, and now back in a 5th wheel. Got a little bit bigger one so that we could do some longer trips. We aren't all that experienced because haven't had the time to go much. That is going to change soon! Hubby is retired but drives a school bus part time. I work full time but able to do it from home since last Sept! Since all I need is my lap top and my cell phone I hope to work from camping sites soon. Going to try working from Kerrville on a camping trip in April.

I'm looking forward to getting to know you all and hear about your trips and experiences! I've already seen posts that you all like to see pictures. I like pictures too! Will enjoy seeing yours and will try to post some here after I figure it out. Looks like its pretty simple with the selections at the top.

Thanks for letting me join you!

Thank you all for your gracious welcome! I will certainly take you up on the invite to jump in and participate. I'm so excited about being able to be out with our house on wheels and seeing more of our great state and country. The whole package appeals to me! We tent camped with our boys when they were kids and I admit that was fun but also hard in ways. Really like the RV style camping much more!

We are going to Schreiner Park in Kerrville. Enjoyed it there last fall. they don't have wifi but I can't use outside wifi with my laptop anyway because of the security issue, have to use an air card, but the nice thing is that it works pretty much anywhere.
anyway, really looking forward to getting to know you all!

Welcome Gina from a sister Texan. I fairly much homebase out of Schertz. Hope that while you are in Kerrville than you might make a day trip up to Stonewall and visit with us. Let us know what day you can make it and someone will make sure you find us.
