Ohhhh Saturday!

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Ohhhh Saturday!

Postby Echo » Sat Nov 29, 2008 6:11 am

Goooood Morning Sistahs!!!

It's Saturday and I'm up and on my second cup of coffee. Ya'll had better hurry up or I'm gonna drain the pot by myself. Wouldn't that be a hoot all those trips to the bathroom during work today! Eeeeeek With my luck the one time I have to go the worst is when the cleaning will have the bathroom closed!!!!

Ended up staying at work until 5pm yesterday. Had told my supervisor that I was leaving at 2pm. She was not happy! The sup's for 60-90 day collections gave everyone a pep talk about putting the hours yesterday and today. It was all about the drawing pool where 10 people will be drawn from a pool of tickets with our names on them to win $1400 a piece for hitting goal and beating our competitors. And how the sup's stand to get over $800 as a bonus each for the month if we win. And how just maybe we might think about how we would like 'happy' supervisors because they got bonus? Hmmm? Each supervisor gets over $800 and out of over 500 people 10 of them will win $1400.?? Anyway my supervisor told me that if I stayed until at least 5pm I would not have my holiday pay taken away. So I stayed till 5pm. ~sigh~ We were offered Monday off instead. So Kelly and I will do our running around on Monday. Get a couple of bills paid and maybe look to get a couple of Christmas gifts.

Well come ya'll the coffee is hot and I haven't drank it all yet. And I have fresh warm cinnamon rolls setting here for everyone. Pull up a chair, grab a cup for the coffee, a plate and napkin for the roll and sit ya a spell. No need for everyone to rush today. ;)

Hope everyone has a great day today. I'll be thinking of ya while I'm at work!!! Be safe is all ya do.

Love to all

Good Morning Echo! Thanks for getting the coffee on for us this a.m. Hmmmm... re: the time thingy,.. do you think the home server of the board host is in a different time,.. like maybe didn't go back to standard time? Or is out in middle of Atlantic?

My pal Kathy will head for home today,... darn. We had a great day just hanging around the house yesterday and cooking and watching movies. It's great to have her visit for a weekend. Hope I can entice her to stay until Sunday a.m. instead of leaving today.

I'm putting some sour cream cookies and some lemon tarts on the table. Both were products of yesterdays cooking spree. And,... of course the big jar of endless Biscotti is there too. I love the chocolate dipped ones!

Headed to kitchen to get my o.j. .... have a great day everyone!

Goooooood Morninggggggggg!! My houseful of company is still here. Every bed is filled, the kitchen hasn't seen this much activity in months. Grab a cup of coffee while the house is still quiet and chat for a few.

Our Thanksgiving couldn't have been better, everyone pushed away from the table with a full tummy, kids devoured all the chocolate pie. But my son had made cheesecake and a pecan pie. Best pecan pie I have had in a long time. Of course that pie is gone, and we are asking that he make another one.

Got a bunch of tee shirts I have to embroider today, we have an Elf team at work and I am making the tee shirts for them. Not real sure what this Elf team is going to do, but I am sure it is going to be fun.

Ya'll have a wonderful day.

Good morning, All! SLOW down the time a bit here! This Thanksgiving vacation is going by WAYYYY too fast for my liking! I have coffee, thanks to echo, who remains a working girl throughout these holidays! Sure do hope you manage to win a super bonus to spend on Monday when you can finally get a day off.

I lolled around the house all day yesterday, rather than going grocery shopping, so that's my plan for today.....along with replenishing my firewood in here, as usual! We have about 4 or 5 inches of new snow, so skiing should be good out there as well. 25 deg. F. temperature is perfect for being out on my ski trails!

Hope you are better today, Beth, and that you and Sparkle can get together with Lori and Ernie.

Have a fun Saturday, everybody-----from me and Molly

good morning all, thanks for the coffee Echo, can't do morning without my coffee.
Saturday saturday saturday, hmm what to do ;) what to do, I suppose my routine
laundry, groceries and cross town for my loan payment. Will be so glad when its
paid off.
Its foggy out this morning, but its already starting to lift leaving everything wet.
Hopefully it will dry out just enough that I can get my laundry on the line to dry.
All is quiet right now, the dogs went back to bed so I better get busy before they
decide its time for round two outside.
Enjoy your saturday and be safe.

Morning all.

Echo, the board is set in Central Time (where I am) - you can change yours to where you are - I just posted a how to in the tech room.

I'm still taking it very easy here - cloudy today - we need rain, but so far it's just been cloudy and feeling like it's going to rain.

Good morning to all the ladies. Sun's out here and its expected to be in the 70's today. It was so warm the other night I actually turned the fan on. Had a great Thanksgiving with my daughter GD and D's fiancee. She did all the cooking - lucky me.

Echo, my wish for you and the New Year is that you find a different job. They one you have sounds like the job from hell. You and Kelly are such hard workers that anyone would b lucky to have you.

Beth, hope you're feeling better so you and Sparkle can get together. Pictures, pictures. Any chance she'll still be there in March when I get to the coast? Would love to meet her.

Zeee, was so nice to see your post. Hope the warmer weather is agreeing with you.

Well, as usual, my dogs are prancing at the door for their long morning walk.

Thanks for putting on the coffee - I just love the smell of coffee ! I'm trying to "make" myself like coffee but haven't been real successful yet - HA ! Like I said, I love the smell and would really like to enjoy the taste.

I need to go back to work so I know when Saturday arrives. I've been
getting so disconnected with the passage of time.

It's overcast here but quite warm for the season. We haven't hit freezing
for days. Normally by now it's in the 20s at night and we have snow and
all that frigid stuff goin' on.

I'm gonna pull out my french press and make up a nice cuppa. You all have
a nice day!
