Wow, that is a great looking group of ladies and such a big turn out.
Did Karen and Carol make it?
Beth - hope you are back to feeling normal by now and get to enjoy some of the outstanding food that usually pops up at any gtg.

That's me behind Carolyn! There was someone taking pics from the left and right at the same time, guess I bobbed my head the wrong way at the wrong time!
Had a great time, and a big thank you to all who helped me get my feeble body and junk moved here to there.
Special thanks to Birdie and Carolyn for allowing me to stay in their rigs, as I was not "allowed" to take my own.
I had to come home taday because of (dirty word), responsibilities...
The weather is more beatiful by the day there, hope ya'll enjoy the rest of the GTG.

Carole and I made the GTG for a couple of nights and of course, the weather turned beautiful the day we had to leave. Left my rig for Liz to use while she looks for a new (to her) one.

A BIG thanks to Alice for all those wonderful brownies (my weakness) and all the pancakes she made for the breakfast. Also thanks to Pete and Bob from ORS for putting this together. Its always nice to put different groups together and get to know one another.

Yeah, Sarah, that's what Alice told us to. She is hiding her culinary skills cause she doesn't want to have a rep for doing good food. This bunch loves to go places, do things, and of course.....eat and drink.

It has been a great time the wind comes and the wind goes. The first few days was a bit foggy, but the last 3 have been great. Looks like a cold front headed this way soon. So guess we will all be hitting the road with some great memories.

Was great seeing all the Sistahs and meeting the ORS group.

Had to check out of the GTG today, as the park had no vacancies for tonight. Birdie and I did the RV shuffle up to Goliad State Park. I'm using Karen's 30' Class C which she generously loaned me the use of, and poor Birdie has to drive it for me, 'cause I'm not gonna. So we moved it first, me following in the car, then came back to get her rig. We'll stay there a couple days while waiting on a report on the inspection of the RV I put an offer on in Houston, and hopefully hear from my insurance co. too. That part is frustratingly slow.

I want to once again thank Bob and Pete for organizing the GTG, Alice and others for the pancake breakfast. There was a great turn-out and the weather has been beautiful. I enjoyed meeting some more members and seeing familiar faces. I'm sorry I was not much of a participant in the activities...too much on my mind. (And didn't have my Half-Time oven) But I'll make up for that next time.

Have to agree with all that the GTG was great. It was so nice to see friends I haven't seen in a while and to meet new friends as well. Bob and Pete from ORS did a great job of getting all the sites organized and helping everyone get settled in. Enjoyed meeting ML and seeing her birds as well. The pancake breakfast prepared by Alice and the guys was great. I missed the spaghetti dinner while I was in Houston with Birdie and Liz looking for a new home for Liz but I heard it was great. Also have to thank Carolyn for her great hospitality. Vicki and I switched hostesses on Sunday night so that Carolyn and Vicki wouldn't have to get up before 6 AM when Birdie, Liz, and I left for Houston. I finally got to meet Sprinter after meeting online for a while now. I regretfully headed home yesterday early afternoon. I've been working on photos and should have some of my blog posts and pictures ready to roll tomorrow. Can't wait for the next GTG.
