You know I didn't take any pictures and Carolyn who did doesn't have internet. My Version is so slow I don't know if we could get a picture to load or not. Some of us went down to the Padre Island National Seashore so Gloria and Colleen could get their America The Beautiful Senion Pass. I'm sure pictures of that occasion will follow soon. Then we had lunch and Margaritas at a restaurant on the water front. Food and drinks were very good. I don't know what everyone else did but I had to nap. ;) Tonight we visited until the mosquitoes ran us all in.

Unfortunately, me who normally takes pics hasn't taken a single one. The little bit of time I'm spending with anyone I'm trying to enjoy company. First day here I was hit with, I believe, food poisoning, and it's taken the wind out of my sails big time. Thanks to many who have made sure I have liquid refreshment (no, not alchohol) I'm staying hydrated. I was doing pretty good the first 1/2 of today, but am exhausted now.

It was great to see Sharon for a bit, and a few minutes with Vickie. Bob says I'm not allowed to be a party pooper - won't talk about the other kind of pooping .. hahaha. Funny thing - I have absolutely no desire for food. Now if that could last longer, or at least shrink my tummy and I pay attention, I'd be grateful, but will say that most likely in a few days I'll be stuffing my face again with the best of them.

I've thought about asking for a dog walker, so that tells you just how I feel. BUT ... I need to get out and about a bit.

Because of the wind today, a pot luck for tonight was postponed till tomorrow (hopefully I'll want to eat by then) and tomorrow morning we'll be doing a pancake breakfast ... well, Alice, Pete and ML are putting that on. And the banners getting signed and pics taken - hopefully with everyone here.

Eventually, I'm sure some pics will be shared. Quite a good sized group here - and I'm so glad to see them getting out and about. Peaches has gotten to the beach every day for one run - she thinks I'm being mean ...

Beth - I hope you are on the mend. Food poisoning or a stomach virus is not fun at the best of times, but when it interferes with a planned good time.... grrrrrrrrr.

It is like old home week here on Mustang Island! :) Yesterday was windy, but the sun was out in the afternoon so it was warm and didn't stop us from having Happy Hour ourdoors ;) It's so great to see everyone again! And, I got to meet Bob, Pete and ML from the ORS group.

It was too windy to have our pot luck outside, so we gathered in groups. A bunch of us piled into Birdie's new rig to indulge ;) Pictures as promised!

YAY, some pics at last! Thanks so much for publishing these, Sprinter! It looks as if everyone is happy in spite of the winds and mosquitoes! It was good to see Beth looking not as bad as she could with that nasty intestinal thing that takes so much out of one's oomph. Many new faces out there that I wish I could have met, but perhaps another time. In the meantime, the more pics, the better! May the next days be the best for you all!

Liz wasn't hiding well enough. Looks like she is sitting on the floor in the first picture. We can see her head. :) Isn't it amazing how many these rigs will hold on a blustery day! (I am thinking back to Carolyn's rig in FL and the blue flashing lights!)

Thanks Sharon! 'Bout time someone got some pictures up! (from the worst of the bunch for posting!) Had to go back and look...and sure enough there was Liz in the second pix..AFTER I spent time looking on the first pix! Tina, think you did that on purpose just to drive us crazy! Keep on having fun and keep us posted as to what you're up to!

I looked at the first pic and thought maybe that was Beth's emergency pot sitting right behind her, but I think it's Simba's food dish.
