Carolb made it as far as Holbrook Pond late yesterday afternoon....and just like the rest of us...she's lots of fun and again it felt like we've know her forever....Got her all checked in at the office and settled at her site next to us...


We did the hugs...short walks for the dogs....then settled in at our site for adult beverages and chatting...Ernie made us Shrimp Gumbo with hard rolls ....


And a campfire, that kinda' died on us as we were all so busy talking and didn't pay attention that it needed more wood...but the evening was warm enough to do without it..just a lite jacket and we were fine..



Along with the beer and wine....

This morning we were up and I built another fire until the fog lifted . And had our coffee and yummy muffins that Carol had made at home and brought with her..


Then we took the 3 dogs for a long walk along the pond and around the area on the tank trails...we sure did "poop them pups out" literally and figuratively speaking... Here's Tigger and April resting after their long walk....Spinner didn't make the photo as he was on his pillow in front of the 5er....


Hated to see Carol and her 4 legged kids leave, but know she's heading for FL to visit her sister and to meet those going to the GTG.....but we did talk about getting together this coming summer along with Irmi & Steve and anyone else that want to come....I see another GTG coming.. ..will give details when we have them....

If we works this right, we need never run out of places to go and people to see..... Thanks for sharing...

Great pictures, Lori, thanks for taking and posting them. Carolb, let me know when you get settled in FL. I know you plan to gtg with Irmi and Steve. I, too, am only a few miles north of Reddick. Of course, if I miss you there, I'll meet you at Hillsborough.

Love these little GTG's. Looks like all (2 legged and 4 legged) had a really good time. Sure enjoyed the pics.

Glad yall got to meet up and enjoyed your visit. Hmmm, that wouldn't be LA shrimp in that gumbo, would it?

That's pretty much what I've been working on! So far I have Arizona, Arkansas, Tn and La covered, and now looks like Oklahoma, too. And if Tina would stay home I'd have Ohio covered!
