I dropped the hint this morning in the "Morning Coffee" Thread that I would have a surprise for you today....Well, here you all go....
Yes, it is Karen.... She came over to visit, deliver the dog ramp for us to drop off with Red (Chris) on our way east, and to have lunch....Ernie wanted to take us to the Mexican Cafe near here, but it was closed. So he suggested that Karen & I go into town for lunch and to (as he put it.) do "girl talk"; and he'd stay home with Spinner....Well, we went to a neat little sandwich shop for great fish & chips and talked so much that we forgot all about taking a picture. So when we got back, I had Ernie take one here...We did stop at Karen's favorite "Fudge Shop" for a little chocolate and got him a some cause he was so sweet....
It was really nice to see Karen again....it has been 4 yrs. since she hosted the very 1st WomenRVer TX GTG in Nov. 2008....where Ernie was declared "The Sultan"... , where Karen started the Flamingo wine glasses, the "Sister shirts" were started, and our "Belle" started to meet more of us and has now travel more than most of us will do in years.... What fun memories....and we're still going strong....
Oh, before I stop...just wanted to let you know that Karen may have a surprise for you all....but I'll never tell.....just stay tuned....
