Last night after our pot luck supper, Karen serenaded us with Indian flute music. Very pretty sound.

Want to take a hike this morning? Roe did, so we took the “Orange Trail” here at the cg up to an overlook. We started out by crossing the highway and walking through the watershed area. Very pretty trees.

The trail starts out under a canopy of cedar trees.

And climbs up a hill to near this watertower.

This is the view from the overlook.

Two deer crossed our path on our last hike, but we saw none today.

Now I’m resting which is pretty much what we all are doing, I think.

Liz thanks for posting pictures of the "trail" area of the park so I don't actually have to walk it. I'm cleaning out my outside compartments a little and loafing. Beautiful weather.

Thanks for more pictures, Liz! I would LOVE to hear Indian Flute music.....where did you get the flute, Karen, and how did you learn to play it?

Some day I would love to have a GTG during which EVERYONE played some kind of instrument, whether it be a washtub bass, spoons, drums of some sort, and the usual guitars and fiddles and keyboards, etc. Maybe I'll try to get enough instruments gathered in one spot for next year's GTG here for us to be able to do that. Campfires and music just go together! I also have a Kerioke mike and speaker here, for those with voices!

Wish I were there with those left in TX. Thanks again for sharing!
