Northern CA GTG

This is my first try at this so bare with me. I've always liked the idea of meeting up with folks. I even established a website to help women feel comfortable about traveling alone in their RV. Right now the most active part is the Blog. You are welcome to check it out-(http://www.blog/womenwanderlust.com) but the point is this website is so much more organized and thought out. I'm getting ready to go somewhere. I'm torn between going to Yosemite, and going up the coast. I made reservations in Yosemite, but had to cancel them because an oak tree fell near my house and did some damage. Not serious, but watching the removal and cutting of the wood was really interesting. The idea I had for my website was that we could contact each other on the internet- like aol chats or now Google + is around- and see where everyone was traveling to. It was a big idea whose time had not come. If there are any goofy women out there that have time on their hands and a good rig and would like to caravan around California- honest, I haven't decided whether I want to go up the coast towards Mendocino, or go east to 395 and go south, stop in the hot springs, hike a bit. Whole trip maybe a week or 2 at most and my name is Linda and I took out my cell number, Happy?

Propably not a good idea to post your phone number on here. This site is open to anyone without joining. We usually contact each other by PM and that's where we give our phone numbers to each other.

Check out the technical area for how to post pictures and avatars, etc. We're a nosy bunch and love pictures. What kind of rig do you have? Any pets? Retired? See, I told you, we're nosy.

Hi there,
Well I'm still not up to speed on figuring out the photo angle. Why is it so obtuse to upload a picture here? So I will continue to fuss with it til I get it right (with the attachments/atavar/photos). I have a Pleasure Way van, if you know what it is you will ooo, it is very cool. I have a little dog named Lily Isabella Brown. She goes with me everywhere and is quite a little trouper. Til I get the photos you can go to www.womenwanderlust.com and see all the places weve been and some of the stories. The website was my moment of inspiration because so many women were asking me how I could travel alone. It just took off from there. I think, as far as I can tell, this forum is a more advanced idea. My idea was to use the chat facilities to keep in touch- AOL AIM and Yahoo chats. It sort of fizzled out after the first summer. Sorry about the phone number. Doesn't look like there's been much activity. Oh, and I am, sort of retired as well. I still do some locum tenens FNP work on occasion when they need extra help in the clinic nearby. Where are you headed?
Linda

Linda, when you post a PM here it doesn't 'go thru', it will stay in your message box until the other person 'picks it up' so to speak. When you receive a PM all you get is a message stating that you have a PM waiting and you have to come here to see the PM. Hope that makes sense, I haven't had a full cup of joe yet so it might sound a bit rambling.
