Mini GTG in South Dakota

Nan and I spent our last evening together visiting with Pat in SE South Dakota. No pictures of the food was taken because Nan and I felt that it would just be too mean to show everyone what they missed. You know the food is good when Sprinter has stopped by twice already in previous trips.
We both got hooked up to some electric and the temps even cooled down enough for us to sit out on the back patio later in the evening and watch the bees bustle around Pat's beautiful flowers.
We met the sweet Miss Radar.
And since there was no one to take our picture.... and I was never as talented as Liz about setting the timer on my camera, you get two pictures of Pat!
Now about that recent rumor regarding potential axe murders parked in Pat's driveway. Sheila's daughter Merry promised that if we gave her enough hush money she would never tell. Then again, after that brunch (where Nan and I thought we had been cleared of all suspicions) Sheila always met us in either a public place or had her mother along for protection......
....And that wonderful pulled pork and potato salad and grape salad from Thursday evening? It tasted even better this afternoon from the "to travel" containers Pat fixed for me this morning.
Thank you again, Pat, for answering those messages and inviting us to drive on over. It is so wonderful to put another face with posts...even better for hearing the voice and laughter that goes with the words.
