I mentioned Thursday, over Morning Coffee, that I was going to meet a new friend this weekend. Well that was tonight and look who it is - Laura aka Cougarfan!!That's Laura on the left; I'm the other one, who by the look of the rosy cheeks, might have or might not have had a beer with dinner.
Laura and her mom, Ann, were in the area on some family business and Laura PM'd me last week to suggest this. I've been bouncing with excitement ever since, but promised not to say anything in case her plans fell through. We three met at a buffet dinner and I positively burned her ears off with questions and excitement. (I swear there's no dignity or reserve in me sometimes. ) Anyway, I had a grand time, and from both Laura and Ann I learned a lot about shopping for a rig and received some top-notch tips about driving the I-5 corridor to the NW GTG.
It's so fun for me to have a new real-life RVing friend! I can see the next (lots of) years are going to be terrific!!
