Mini GTG in Michigan

Finally got Photobucket to cooperate and load the pictures I took of my GTG with JudyJB on June 22nd. I didn't take any pictures of the park itself but did get a couple of the two of us and her lovely new rig. I will let Judy post the pictures of the inside when she has a chance to do so. We had a wonderful time together and I just love her new rig. wish I could have stowed away in one of the storage compartments but alas, they are too small for this body  i know she is going to so enjoy traveling in it.

I also asked Judy if she would like the Campsite Occupied sign that i had been playing with. It didn't come out like I would have liked it to and I wasn't able to get the screws tightened on the back support part, but suggested that perhaps her handy son could do that or change the hinge for a bigger one. There is another board with a hinge on the back that will allow for it to be folded flat for storage but supports the sign when in use. Much like those Wet Floor signs we see in stores or restrooms etc. But here's a picture of the first prototype of a Campsite Occupied sign that I made and she now has in her MH's storage area.

And her beautiful new MH. Now you will have to bug her for more pictures :)

Sue, you can make those on the road and supplement your retirement...The motorhome is very pretty and like Sarah I'm anxious for inside pics.

Glad that you and Judy got together for a mini GTG. The few pictures sure do show a nice treed park. Gotta love those trees.

Love the sign!! And that super good looking rig on the outside, at least. Now to see the inside. Judy really needs to get busy with her camera!!!

OK, OK, OK. I will try to post photos. I am really challenged when it comes to this, but will take some time this evening to try to figure it out. I may be yelling for help, so stay tuned.

The sign was gorgeous! Sue really is talented. We had a great day in Mackinaw, also.

Campground was beautiful and wooded, but a bit tight for a large rig, and I needed help getting it out because you cannot see all the pickup trucks parked right on the edge of the roadway. No place to park them next to or in front of rigs, so they hung over the right-of-way.

Weather was perfect--cool breeze and no bugs to speak of.

I did it. Not as hard as I thought. See photos on the Show Off Your Rigs section.
