Okay, I promissed photos of Kathleen's visit, etc; fortunately I didn't say they would be good one. Have one excellent shot of Kath but they kinda go down hill from there :x

Kathleen arrived at Ditto Landing Friday afternoon and she got a site directly across from Magic. No photos then but here's a bit of info on the location

Ditto Landing is on the TN River at far south end of Huntsville. It is a city/county park, initially developed as a marina. The campground is small and appears to get a lot of use by locals as it is not advertised much
Image

The part I cut off at bottom of sign says hiking/biking trails (taken from car window with traffic behind me, thus blur)
Image

Small Part of the marina. TN River bridge in background
Image

Another section with small boat launch (there is another launch for big boats)
Image

Part of stream behind marina. Look close and you might see the mother duck and 1/2 dozen babies on far bank. For you kayak folks, think you could use this stream if you don't want to go out in the much larger TN River
Image

Nicky's first night in Magic did not go too well (getting much better now)
Image

Kathleen slept in Sunday morning but she did keep her promise to make waffles for our fresh local strawberries. What a treat.
Image

Can you tell she thought they were good?
Image

The washing crew showed up earlier Sunday morning to give Magic a bath

Image

Guess who else came to visit - Wendy and Pepper
Image

Closest I came to getting a butt shot
Image

Lots of bikers here - all different kinds. Can you see the windshields on these?
Image

Another visitor got lots of attention
Image
His name is Randy, 6 months old and walks on leash better than Nicky
Image

Wendy, Kath and pups relaxing
Image

By Sunday evening the campground was almost empty. Kath and I had leftovers from Fridays dinner for supper
Image

Okay, do I get fed tonight or are you going to forget again?
Image

Then we started a little campfire. It got bigger and brighter and we enjoyed it until about 9:00PM when the bugs ran us off

Kath trying to get Shadow to pose for photo before we left the fire.

Love those mini GTG's. Such fun. Glad Wendy came down to be with you guys for a bit. Love that you made the trip out for a bit of fun. I agree the kayak's would fit down that stream really well.

Another great GTG, thanks for the pictures. I don't think I have ever seen a bike with a windshield. We could use that here with the love bugs. Good to see Wendy and Pepper again. That looks like a nice park but a very busy boat launch.

Great little GTG! Love the waffles with strawberries and whipped cream! Yum!

I had a baby raccoon once named Molly. She walked on a leash too, or would sit on my shoulder while I rode my bike and go swimming with me out in the lake. She was awesome! Until, that is, she went thru hybernation. She woke up very wild and we had to bring her to a wildlife zoo since she wasn't able to fend for herself out in the wild.

Glad you all had a great time, including the dogs!

Mitch - Friday night that dish was whole chicken breasts cooked on a bed of brown rice and vegetables. We chopped up the remaining chicken, added some mushroom soup and reheated it for our leftovers dinner on Sunday.

I have to thank Mitch for fixing a picture for me and helping me get it on the forum. And Vickie says she's mean.

You didn't have to thank me at all! But now you ALL know that Vickie is a stinkin' fibber...

I could eat those delicious looking leftover anytime. Looks like a nice time was had by all. Even Nicky looks like he might like to do this camping thing again.
