Had dinner with Vicki, Steve (Ann's husband) and Ann at Pont Breaux (formerly Mulates) in Breaux Bridge this evening. They are from TX and staying at the Frenchman's Wilderness Campground.
Edit to add: I forgot to take pic of food, but it was yummy! :D

Nice to see another gtg. Now, Carolyn, you need to learn to set your camera so YOU can be in the pic, also. You might not want a pic of yourself, but I bet you'd like one with everyone sometimes. And we'd sure like it :) (OK, I'll shush now and be grateful you took a pic and shared it)

We had breakfast Saturday morning at Cafe Des Amis, while listening to Cajun and Zydeco music.

Then on our way to the Gumbo Cookoff at the campground, Vicki and Steve photographed some bee houses in the rain.

Then, we stopped to photograph the Butte LaRose Pontoon Bridge

After all that hard work, it was time to get to the Gumbo Cookoff to sample the gumbo

Carolyn - you are the best touring guide in LA. Are you sure you don't work for the Chamber of Commerce? Looks like you had a great time and enjoyed all that good food and music.

Carolyn was the best guide you could ask for. It was a fabulous trip and I just found one of the restaurants she took us to mentioned in Southern Living!
