gtg's

I don't want to cause a problem, but just want to explain. The Pink Flamingos are part of another forum. It's fine to attend gtg's between both, of course. But there have been questions to me about the banners. I will, of course, side with gtg's that are started by this or the ORS singles forum, as the banners have been made by these two forums. Right now the women's banner belongs with the gtg coming up in FL - as that is a gtg started by this and/or the ORS group.

I hope this doesn't cause problems, but things have to have a place and time - and I hope the banner is in FL for their gtg.

No problems from me, as I agree with you on this... ...We have "Belle" (who is a flamingo & has been with us in July 2008) and she is on the banner, too... By the way....where is she?? Haven't heard from her in awhile..... Hope she'll be at the FL GTG along with the Banner.....

I believe Belle is spending some quality time with Irmi and Steve. Hope she is able to get out and about soon.

Thanks Beth, I just thought Pink Flamingos was another name for US! I do have a pink flamingo hanging from my car mirror, but just because it is a pina colada air freshener.

Just to clarify a bit more,yes, the Pink Flamingos started off with about five of us that had "met" on another forum several years ago. However, this very unofficial group has branched out to inlude members of several forums, different organizations and other gals we meet along the way. It is not tied to any particular forum or organization and anyone is welcome. I do understand and respect Beth's position of keeping the banners only for gtg's sponsored by the the two forums.

And I, too, think people should go to all and any gtg's they can. And I have no problem with the banner traveling to all of them - as long as it makes all the ones it represents We, too, invite others to our gtg's - course, we wish they'd join, but it's not a requirement to having fun with us.
