A mini KY GTG

It takes a while to get some pictures posted. Then again, "Someone" didn't take that many pictures..... Herschel, here, and I am not going to mention names but BJ and the Lady didn't give me much to work with here!
BJ was nice enough to jump in her new to her rig (which is still waiting for a name....hint, hint) and drove from Southern IL to Western Ky and Pennyrile State Resort Park and met up with us as we left AL and were headed back to Ohio. Dinner at the Lodge Sunday evening was nice but don't drive out of your way stay in the park. There were very few sites that were even somewhat level. And it is one of those weird places that tries to save money or something by placing the electric and water connection for two sites somewhere between two sites. As you might imagine many of the connections were at unusual distances from where a rig might be parked. Extensions would have been needed for many. Luckily the park was pretty deserted this time of year and it being a non-weekend and BJ and the Lady each got sites that only required a few "blocks."
The lake was pretty but required a drive down a steep hill to access. I would have walked back up that hill but seems the hoomans were not inclined to walk so they drove and didn't offer to let us doggies see the water.
Now the really neat part ....if anyone has horses...the best sites are right next to us in the horseman's campsites. The were huge, flat and had water , electric AND sewer! There was only one trailer and two horses there with two young women.
Remi didn't want me to post this one.....it shows what he is capable of doing on cool morning when the temps drop just a little......And he expects me to sleep on the floor so I don't step on him.... Ha. I have been snuggling up on beds before he was even born....
I don't always understand hoomans but this picture seemed to be important to record a successful moment......Something about hoses and black tanks and grey tanks..... And no "butt" shots were involved.
Well we only stayed two night and then BJ headed back to IL and we headed on north. The Lady drove and Stuart slept in his crate and Remi and I rode shotgun.
Well, if she had really needed us you know we would have been right there to help!
