So, George and I are sitting in this lovely AR State Park - Crater of Diamonds in southeastern (sorta) Arkansas.
(note the ice machine at the back of The Mobile Marlin - THANK YOU, Karen for letting me borrow yours last year
and letting me become familiar with the joys of practically unlimited ice!)





Lo and behold - who pulls in and parks across the road from us????
Could I have any worse luck in the entire world - Vickie!!!!

George got mad enough to become an Axe Murdering Woodsman...




But then we decided to all be nice to each other and we went searching for the Family Jewels...

I'm so happy your families could enjoy some R&R together. How wonderful your friendship is. You two (four), are certainly blessed!

ROFLOL! I thought Vickie couldn't make it, so figured you wouldn't go either....You would have HATED being there without your buddy! So glad you guys could do that!

I was there 2 years ago, but the RV Park was closed for remodeling. I stayed at a COE park. I didn't find anything worth anything but it was fun digging around.

Oh my what bad luck so glad you could all decide to make the best of the situation I was wondering what happened to you two!

I'm so glad you both - well all 4 of you - got out and are able to enjoy. It's been a tough year for all of you. Enjoy (and we all know you're so happy to have her there, Mitch).

Enjoy you four..... Guessing/hoping the temps are a little better than the heat Carolyn and Sarah had last fall....but hey, you have plenty of ice, so no problem.

Well, first of all, I feel sorry for VICKI!!! I can only image how she felt when she first saw you, and then she saw George with a hatchet in his hand! I'm sure she and Ronnie considered going somewhere else, but being such kind souls, they decided to stay to be nice to you! Cuz, after all, she's the nice Vicki!

Now that's out of the way, what's the story on the ice machine? Spill, Mitch, Spill all the details...

(Really and truly, I'm sure it was terrific to share a nice time with Vicki and Ronnie, but I know you couldn't possibly own up to that, eh???)
