Sarah, Wendy and I met at the Cracker Barrel to meet. Of course we had a great meal and then we trekked down to a flea market and shopped a little and acted silly. Sarah found some goodies and a dental table. I bought some S hooks and spinner hooks and a cell phone holder that doesn't work but we had a great day.
Hope we didn't scare Wendy off. Sarah has pictures. Oh and Belle got to meet Wendy too.

Hey, you can't scare off that easy! As Carolyn said, me Sarah and her ate at Cracker Barrell and then I took yhem to a flea market where they bought things they never knew they needed! I'm sorry the cell phone thing didn't work, Carolyn. The dental cabinet sarah bought is really neat, could be a kitchen island or something. I just hope you were able to get it out of the van. My GD had a cheerleading clinic I went to watch this am, came back straighened up a bit and guess I will finish up the new John Grsham book, it's really good. I need to do my twice yearly seasonal clothes swap, something we get to do in this part of the country. But I enjoy the seasons changing, where I grew up in Calif. it stayed pretty much the same all year. Those of you on the road stay safe, those at home find something fun to do! Wendy

Finally, success with Photobucket; have never experienced this much problem with it over a two day period. Anyway, it it working like a charm now.
Wendy (readytogo), Carolyn (sunchinecrusierTN) Belle, Sarah (bluepinecones) at Cracker Barrel in Cullman, AL. Oct 2010. Yes, Belle got to go!
We really had a good day together. I don't believe we have to worry about scaring Wendy too bad; think she can hold her own with this bunch of ladies.
Carolyn and I made it back to Huntsville just in time to hit a bingo game for the evening. We didn't leave with any extra cash, in case you are wondering but it was fun.
Carolyn had some things to take of on Saturday but we were able to get together one last time. She met me in Madison and helped unload my little dental cabinet at antique mall. From there we quickly previewed an auction, ate, then paid a brief visit to Jean (Sparkle). When I took Carolyn to get her car, the antique mall was closing but I asked the owner to play the piano for Carolyn. He decided to show off on the organ instead; played a dreary song from the 1700s, then a perky ragtime piece. (He is actually a very talented musician.) On our way out he offered to take our photo.
Sadly had to say good bye then. Jan. gtg seems a long way off but looking forward to seeing her and others there.

Thanks for the pictures of your little GTG!
I remember my brother finding an old dental cabinet at the dump when we were kids. It lived at our house for many years and was passed from his bedroom to mine after awhile. All those little drawers were great for holding all our "little" treasures. Seems like we always brought something back home from a trip to the dump. (We called it "dump stumping")

Well if Carolyn and Sarah couldn't chase Wendy off, guess she'll fit right in with the rest of us! Welcome to the mob, Wendy, and hope to see you down the road one of these days!

It was a really good time. Our visit with Jean was so inspiring for me. From the last time I saw her in the summer, she looked so much better. Color was good and her strength seemed better. All I can say is prayers being answered.
The dental cabinet would make a great little island in a kitchen or even a nice bar.
