Directions to Silver River State Park: From I-75, take State Road 40 East about 9 miles. Turn right on State Road 35 (a little past Walmart on the right). Entrance to the park is 1 mile on SR 35 (AKA Baseline Road or NE 58th Ave) on left.

Silver River State Park is located east of Ocala, 1 mile south of SR 40 on SR 35. From Interstate 75, take exit 352 onto SR 40 east, about 9 miles to SR 35. From Interstate 95 take exit 268 to SR 40 west, about 60 miles to SR 35, then left 1 mile to park entrance. Or call the park at (352) 236-7148
Here's their cancellation policy....less than a day's penalty if you can't come:
Cancellations up to the day before arrival may be made for a fee of $17.75. If you want to cancel on or after the day of arrival, contact the park directly. You will be charged the first night's use fee, in addition to the $17.75 cancellation fee.

Sunday, January 23: Meet & greet. Nan and I will have Chili dinner waiting for you to warm your innards iffin it's cold like last year. BYOB. Place to be determined.
Monday, January 24: Rig Open House, 1 PM; Pot Luck Dinner at Cabin #1, time to be determined, BYOB; Campfire & games, Group picture, sign the banner, etc.
Tuesday, January 25: Pot Luck Breakfast Buffet at Cabin #1; Leftover Dinner at the Cabin
Thursday evening....campfire songs, led by Tina and "Little Bunny Foo Foo" ---Everybody bring an instrument to play (Can be hand made)

Oklawaha River Lock Trip: Travel through a lock on a pontoon boat up/down 32', explore the river for gators, etc., lunch at Dam Diner (on you). 4 hrs. This one is through Capt. Vince (Friend of the park), Awareness Adventures. He also does tours on the Silver River & others. Cost: $20 He'll pretty much arrange any tour you're interested in if enough people.
