I'm glad Martha was able to get a site there for the night. They're gonna have to put a revolving door there at the campground for all the people coming and going to visit you and Jean!

They know now when someone says they are "coming to visit" and finish the sentence for them "Beth and Jean?" It's great. Good people running this place. I would come back and probably will at some future date. And they are working to improve more. I think it's one of the cheaper places Martha has stayed this trip - and she likes it.

What a nice surprise . I am so glad she had a chance to stop by. Yes, that park is really nice, if my trips ever take me close by I will stop by there again. I like Monte Santo also.

Beth, you and Jean, should have started a guest book for all of the visitors, your presents has brought to Alabama. Unusual to have two Sistah's in a nice campground and my goodness how you have helped the Alabama economy. I've driven through Alabama, Liz and I, toured some of it couple of yrs ago, but never had the chance to REALLY see it until my visit with Sarah last winter , what a great tour guide she is around Huntsville and then visiting you all this past month. Its really a beautiful state with lots of interesting places to visit. # 1 being you two of course :)

Really nice pictures of you all together.

CArol

I think you should have had your own banner for all the Mini GTGs you've had this year...you'd have filled it up with signatures. Good to see you again Martha, if only in a picture. Wish you were coming to Arkansas. Jean, sit up...no slouching!

This forum...does encourage traveling and visiting. It gives us good reasons to slow down and see parts of the world we might have missed not to mention meeting wonderful people :D :D

I just had to stop and meet Beth, Jean and Sarah since I was coming through Alabama. They are at such a nice camp ground. I ended up staying at 3 KOA's going and coming back only because I am bad about driving until almost dark and they seem to be the only parks that have signs I can follow. For the prices they charge they should be resorts but the ones I stayed in the sites weren't even level. I didn't know there were so many lakes in that area. If I hadn't been in a hurry to get home I would have checked out the fishing. I hope I can go back to that area sometime when I have time to stay.

Beth, thanks for the dinner. I enjoyed visiting with you all and I know we will meet again down the road. :)

Glad to know you made it home safely.
Do come back and try the fishing sometime. Lots of great fishing spots all along the TN River and Lake Guntersville is know for large mouth bass, croppie, brim, catfish and many more. There are bound to be some big ones in there with your name on them!
