YOU-KNOW-WHO will be at The Blue Marlin for a visit in two weeks...can you help me come up with a plausible excuse as to why I won't be available and why she needs to cancel her trip? (psssssssssttt...don't tell Vickie I asked you all for help...)

Ah, yes, this is an anonymous poster, I learned how to hijack Vickie's computer by watching YOU do it at the TN GTG last year. I think you are very lucky to be honored with her presence for even such a short period. You should celebrate her visit with a big glass of wine with Sprite in it!

You know we are all gonna want a 'blow by blow' ( pun intended), of the entire visit. Perhaps a photographer to follow you around as we want pics with both of you at once to veryify the GTG really happened as you both are so good at computer generated graphics!

Now Mitch, you know I love you to pieces and would do anything in the world for you, but please tell me why I would do something to endanger probably the most fun this forum has seen in a while????

Because I can't come up with any reason to make her not come - she never believes anything I say, anyway.

We are not getting in the way of this....we would not want you to be bored.....can hardly wait for the pictures and creative art work. You do know that you are responsible for our high expectations. But the truth....really a picture of the two of you enjoying life would be enough. So don't be crazy on our account. Enjoy quietly if you want. We can always use our own imaginations.

"Oh woe is me" my great Aunt Oma's big toe!! You forget my dear, I've camped with you and I know EXACTLY how this GTG is going to go....You'll be so busy cooking and waiting on them and so happy to have them there that you won't have time to get into to much trouble....or.....you'll have so many Carolyn's Coolers in you that you won't care!! Either way, it's a win-win situation for us!

And yes Tina, you are sooo right...you guys enjoy your time together and have fun! Love you both and wish I could be there.

Poor Vickie - since being diagnosed as an overweight diabetic, I don't cook anymore. I have salad. Period.
(well, okay, the frequent Carolyn Cooler...)
She's on her own in the food department...
