OK, left Kerrville for Hords Creek COE park in Coleman Texas. Spent two nights there. Great park even if the lake is low. I love COE parks; their sites aren't cramped and they're usually on a lake or some water. There were only two other campers there; it was kind of misty and COOL (thank God). Left Saturday morning and drove for about six hours to Cordell OK. Am spending the night in the Cordell City park. $10 for water and sewer, only two sites but nice and quiet. There is water available as you drive in but not at the sites. You pay at the Cordell Police Department and a very nice officer escorted me to the park. I didn't have any phone service at HOrds creek so no computer either.

Tomorrow night in Great Bend Kansas (maybe). Arriving sometime Monday.

And yes, Barb, I believe the journey is part of the fun - kind of wish I had further to travel, but glad I can get there so quickly this time.
