More Blue Marlin.....Posted Tuesday

Since Sarah started listing days, I wasn't whether to just add on to existing days or start anew. These pictures were taken yesterday/Monday but are getting posted on Tuesday, just to keep chronology straight. Must admit that our leisurely wandering through the days does make that difficult. There have been a couple trips into town for supplies and some doggy swim days and afternoon card games but of the days are about sitting around in the shade in the mornings and late afternoons and escaping into AC in the high heat of the day, visiting and just being. (And Mitch has been supportive of my weight loss goals by including me in her walks.
There was some mowing that "needed" to be done according to the head landscaper. She did leave her top on for the complete task since we were here. This comment is just to remind everyone again just how far from civilization and neighbors the Blue Marlin is.
Sarah and Nicky enjoy the cooler shade of the early morning.

And then there was the second dog swim opportunity....

Nicky didn't get to swim but he got to come sniff.

Spinner thought he was missing out on an adventure, too, but Lori wasn't sure if he could swim where he couldn't touch bottom. His creek back in PA is much smaller than the Blue Marlin's pond.

So, some just observed from the side lines....

"What do you mean, we have to stay out here in the x-pen until we are dry? Why?" asks Audrey.....

This afternoon Lori joined Sarah and I for a card game and found it similar to other games of her memory. She is now officially prepared for any GTGers with CArol, Liz or Nan around......We told her we were not the top level players but would serve as the warm up trainers....
Tonight is our last evening together. Tomorrow we head off in three different directions and Mitch gets to rest....until the next adventure!
