Sarah & Mitch, Sitting In A Tree...

..
No, we're not kissing...
Okay, fine - we're not sitting in a tree, either.
Under a tree.

Here's Sarah at my campsite in Gallatin TN awaiting the Cocktail and Hors D'oeuvre Hour - wine and goat cheese stuffed dates.
Nicky wants more of Abby's cookies.

And here's Sarah at Camping World in Nashville, waiting for the Vegas salesman to come tell her if a grab bar can be installed close to the dump tank valves...yes, I said VEGAS - like Tina's. No decision yet...

And that's the day's story.
Oh, and it's raining now.
That's sad.

Oh, to have been a fly on the wall for that tour. I figure only Sarah knows what will meet her needs. The rig is not the a top of the line sort of rig but the price seems fair for what you get. Driving the extra feet down the road has not been a problem for me. But I know that because it has a low clearance I will have to watch the angles on entrances and exits of driveways.....

I knew there would be no pics of Mitch before I even opened the thread.

Keep us updated on your decision, Sarah!

I think you started something, Tina. Sarah, also ask if the dump valves and hose connection can be repositioned to make them more accessible for you.

Sarah, you gotta watch out with Mitch. She is really good at spending other people's money! :o

Vicky, as you know it is very difficult to get a picture of Mitch. I did manage to sneak up on her for this one

Love Mitch's new rig. She has a choice site right on the water

The deer and wild turkeys here are even more difficult to get in front of camera. Have seen a few wandering surprisingly near the campsites.

I'm on a small hill about 15 feet above Mitch. Behind me is a heavily wooded area which does not show up very well as this was taken much later afternoon

I've been drooling on-line at the bed room set up in the Vegas ever since Tina and Sharon posted about seeing one in CA last winter. Just had to come see when dealer relatively close by got one on lot. No decision at this point; just looking.
So far he only money that changed hands was at a Wal-Mart stop on the way back to campground.

Hmmm, now there's proof that Mitch is the mean one, Hell's fire is nipping at her feet! :?

Waiting to hear about a new rig :-) I must admit the ease of my dump valves location makes me very happy on this rig. My last was good but this is even easier. But they should be able to extend or move them if the grab bar can be added, Sarah.

Sarah, so glad you managed a pic of Mitch! Looks like you two might be getting into trouble together.

A lot more deer today including several tiny fawns and turkeys with babies roaming around today. Mitch and I both tried to get photos but to no avail…. ended up with mostly butt shots or blurs. Will try again tomorrow.
Several brief thunderstorms with heavy rain and one included a pretty stiff wind. At least it has not been a total washout as it might have been. The humidity is so high that every time the sun comes out, it is like being in a sauna.
BTW: For the kayakers, there looks like a good spot to put in from a camp site just down from mine….back of paved area less than 100 feet from water.
This park has quite a few walking trails also.
TN State Parks offer a 25% discount in season and up to 50% off out of season for those of us over 62.

Good to know the discounts. And always good to find more pretty parks on the water......

Sadly our visit is coming to an end.
Weather was a little nicer to us today - at least no rain.

I have a bit more research to do before making a decision on the Vegas and will likely look at it again. I am totally in love with the twin beds/ bedroom set up.

We decided to do a little sight seeing today. We toured RoseMont, an unusual blend of Greek Revival and Paladian design in a rare tripartite design. The house is part of the TN Ring of Fire Trail. Might be interesting to tour more things along the large loop it makes in eastern part of state.

No photos inside but got a nice one of the front

Also caught Mitch off guard when we stopped for a late lunch

Thanks for more pics, Sarah. You have to be sneaky to get Mitch or all you get are pics of her palm!
