Hey Gals!

I know there's already a gtg in FL at this time but Kathleen and I have been kicking around a possible one here in IL in October. Dates we have discussed have been the 24, 25, and 26. We are trying to find a park centrally located and looked at COE but it doesn't seem like they are open those dates. So I suggested Argyle Lake SP. So far there are 3 of us interested: me (gingerK), Kathleen (dayspring39) and Cheryl (IrishIroamed). Anyone else interested?

I think if you have three already interested go for it. You won't hurt anyone's feelings about dates. All of us understand the choices we have to make about gas money and or time. GTG are not measured by how many attend but by how much information fun and laughter they generate. You may pick up more visitors than you expect once the date is out there.

Go ahead and confirm the dates, etc. Not everyone can be at the same place at the same time. If I wouldn't still be workamping, would have tried to make this one.

I am in!! I will come on the 23rd and have a pot of chili for everyone after they set up on 24th... anyone can bring goodies relish tray or what ever...

Twisted Oak Campground would be my choice as winner...

Haven't a clue. I blame the whole thing on Kathleen. She gave me the idea. I just ran with it.

Sounds like fun, but by that time I will have my TT all winterized and put away. Winter is breathing down our necks in these parts by late October. Plus will just have returned from the KS GTG a few weeks before and the downed leaves will be calling

Sounds like a lot of fun but I'll be back in SoCal then! Darn, never been to Illinois. Wait a minute...yes I was, on a motorcycle. People there aim for motorcycles in their cars.....hated that state!

Colliemom, it's only 9 miles outside of Macomb IL, there are loads of hotels there! That's the route I'll go if we can make it since we have no camper yet.

I have a tentatively scheduled wedding to attend in Chicago that weekend, a friend is trying to get married before her terminally ill father passes, it's my belief that the wedding will end up happening this summer and if so I'll be heading over to meet you gals.

Oh Tina that FL gtg is when the police lights were blazing... remember??
