If anyone is heading up, down or over to the RV show, would love a mini-gtg. No matter what rig you may have or how often your RV, you've got 100% more experience than I have. Since I'm always looking for a roaming home on my own, would love to learn from what you look for in a rig (any type). Maybe lunch or dinner too (?). I'm definitely going on Friday, and probably Saturday also, to see what I may have missed the day before or to look/see some a second time.

Maybe the weather in Chiberia :?: will be cooperative that weekend!

2014 Show Hours
Wednesday, Feb 12 : Noon - 9pm
Thursday, Feb 13 : Noon - 9pm
Friday, Feb 14 : Noon - 9pm
Saturday, Feb 15 : 10am - 9pm
Sunday, Feb 16 : 10am - 5pm

Donald E Stephens Convention Center
5555 N. River Road
Rosemont, IL 60018

Chiberia: Coined by a national weather service forecaster when the polar vortex hit 1st week of January 2014

Hope you find a real steal of an RV to take home.
I accidentally stumbled into mine at an RV show so know it can happen.

Sarah & Vickie - I wish I could buy one (C class) this year, but that may still be a few years away. But I have been thinking about a little TT to get my feet wet, so maybe!

I've always been intrigued by those little teardrops. They're just so darn cute!

Got to the RV show yesterday (Friday), spent 4 1/2 hrs just in one section  Since recent brain spurts have been sending me down the truck / TT path, I actually found one I like. New model this year (Keystone Summerland 2020QB) and has almost everthing I've been looking for in C class. Not dark at all because of the huge windows in the back. Show price $13,900. hmmm - maybe next week when I'm planning on Saturday looking at trading in for a pick-em-up truck, this could happen lol

If I were retiring today, I'd start with this small C class - smallest one I've seen with an island bed (Four Winds 26A)

I can dream can't I :D

That's the layout I would like to get in an 18 footer. Besure to get a truck that can handle the weight of it loaded.

I like the floor plan of the motorhome. My previous motorhome had a dinette and sofa. The dinettes are not comfortable to sit at for a long time so I would want a sofa. I would like to have the room of a big Class A but when I think about having to drive and park one will probably stay with a smaller Class C.
