Carold and I decided to sprint up to Silver Springs for the day to gtg with the gals before they dispersed to other parts. The sky looked ominous and within moments of hitting the interstate, the sky released its rain in torrents. I was driving my ex's decrepit car without ac, but even a rainy day in FL can be too warm for closed windows.
After about an hour of driving with limited visibility, we decided it was not in the cards to persevere and turned for home. Carol knew of a restaurant on the water in Ellenton, so we went there for crab cakes and margaritas.
Here we are toasting another gtg. Maggie is at my feet which are trying to keep her from falling off the deck into the water.
