Hello,

Martha and I got to meet with JoanE. Martha picked her up in Abbeville and met me at Prejeans in Carencro for dinner and Cajun music.
It was great to Meet JoanE and see Martha again.

PS I forgot to take a pic of the food. I know, I know...

Great pictues, good fun, and I'm assuming (ah-hemmmm...) that the food was good, too!

Was that creature alive at one time, or is it a "model" ? ?

I am not sure about this particular alligator, but they do get that big and bigger here.

OMG!!! I assume people 'round there don't let their poochies out unattended??? Do they ever get close to the house?

Mitch, unfortunately lots of little dogs are lost to 'gaters yearly.

Any GTG with Carolyn and Martha is bound to be a great one. So glad JoanE got to meet both of them. So did you have crawfish, etouffe, or crocodile for dinner?

I enjoyed our dinner and meeting Carolyn and Martha. Martha lives close to the RV park, so she joined me tonight for happy hour at the park and stayed for the crawfish boil, my first. We met other fun people who were also at the park. If you are ever in this area, look up Betty's RV Park. Not your usual campground. Happy hour every evening and frequent pot lucks. Everyone there is a repeat customer. They go back for Betty.

Looks like you all had a nice time. I have read about Betty's on other forums. Seems like others said it was home town fun?
