I was first to arrive and first home (ok, the full-timers were home before they left
). It's great to have this beautiful campground only an hour away. Just like my visit earlier in the summer, I enjoyed the scenery, the totems, and the rental units but this time thanks to Beth and the management we were able to view the inside of the rentals and play with golf carts!
Thank you Beth and the rest of the ladies (and gent) who made this week special.
Now for some pics...
The gnome house rental unit (our golf carts were called gnome mobiles)
Three park models waiting for their "ride" to the Hershey RV show, with models Beth, Liz and Joan in the foreground
Steve at the pulpit....
while Irmi is at the organ
The covered wagon rental unit
Inside with Beth, Irmi, and Steve
Riding around the campground, seeing the sights
Ut-oh! There was much damage to the left rear of this trailer
Flowers everywhere
Steve, Irmi, and I decided to try the "world trail" exercise stations. Shhhhh....we rode to each one in the golf carts
This is much harder than it looks
Don't worry....Steve is not suppose to be walking a straight line
Irmi making this station look easy
Pics of "Missy" waiting outside my RV the last two mornings. I fed her, I named her, I took her for walks, and I wanted to bring her home with me! When I was outside doing the last minute inspection before leaving, around the corner comes Missy with another campground cat and they sat down right in front of me. It was so hard to leave both of them behind but I know Beth will give me updates.
and my most favorite pic of the week.....Shy Steve between rounds of mini-golf
