Oh heck. The motor home wouldn't start. Roger is going to try something again tomorrow, otherwise it will be a call to Coach-Net.

Margie...you get extra points for finding out about the "no start" issue before the leave date.

Margie, remember last Oct. I got hauled to Knoxville Freightliner? Well, this was the issue. I won't go into what they said, couldn't stay there, surgery time for eyes and had to be a quick trip. Took it too Orlando Freightliner and was told this happens from time to time with our units on Sprinter chassis. We flip the key back to quick, I was told and of course, it started every time while there. My driver is one who had problem, and I did once, because was anxious about it starting but so far so good and its cranked up each time I've tried it which has been many times since being told this. So hopefully this is your problem too.

Counting on seeing you all next week, heading down that way tomorrow, to visit DD for a couple of days, she lives in Lake Wales, practically on the way.

Dave and I took the camper over to Hardee Lakes yesterday. It sure was foggy coming home this morning in time for work. On the way home the truck started to make a noise. We dropped it off at the dodge dealer this morning. Hope Margie's problem gets fixed and ours, too.

Pray for good weather ladies. There will be a small chance of rain towards the end of this week. Do you sit around the camp fire in your pj's while it rains? Looking forward to all the fun and shenanigans this weekend. Dave's in charge of bail money. I plan to be right in the middle of the fun.

Vicki, so glad that you are working on a positive weather report....

With this group there really are few standards or expectations on how to have fun only that we will either find fun or make it up as we go along. Folks generally come dressed but in what is a whole different story.

Bail money is a good thing.....

We got up this morning and headed back to the motor home. It was a blown fuse. Roger had a spare and he then he drove the motor home to ourheaded house. I headed to the grocery store to get food for the trip.

Sadly,when I got home Roger had found out that his mother is much, much worse. We now have to leave in the morning to head to Tennessee. We will take the car because the weather is too risky to take the motor home. His sister has an extra bedroom and we will stay there. His sister brought his mother home from the nursing home last Tuesday and hospice was called in. His mother has severe dimentia now and about a month ago she fell and broke her hip and shattered her elbow. Hospice says she has a week or two left. She is on oxygen and unable to swallow. She is 80 years old.

So unfortunately we won't be able to go to the GTG at Hardee Lakes. We have site 46 and we cancelled it today. Hope you all have a great time.

I have just discovered that I will be able to come to the get together. I called the Ranger and left a message for a reservation and hopefully I can get one. I don't know if he is the one I should call for this information. Hope I can get in on such short notice. Should be fun and can't wait to see everyone!
